Shadowman wrote:Kibble wrote:One question... If you're that friggin' concerned about acting, WTF are you doing watching a TF movie in the first place? Really! That's like going to McDonalds and complaining about your lack of a fine dining experience...
Let me answer that by posting quoting what I just said:Shadowman wrote:I don't know that anyone did, but unfortunately the theater doesn't let you fast forward past all the parts where you're forced to watch her pretend to act.
It's more like going to McDonald's and complaining someone took a crap in your fries.SlyTF1 wrote:This. The movie's focus is on the robots any way! And so far, they've done a great job acting.
If the focus is on the robots, why do the humans get so much more screen time?

"Don't like, don't watch" doesn't exactly apply here. I'm not talking about the movies in general, I'm talking about one aspect that I hate. It's not enough to ruin the movies for me, but it is enough to irk me. If I want to watch either of the movies, I have to sit through Megan's "acting." More so in the theater when I'm not given the choice to skip parts.
Kibble wrote:Whatev. Fox may not be a great actress, but she's far from the weak link of these films... Her job is eye candy and not much else...see her replacement for proof. If you have THAT much of a problem with her, surely the problem lies deeper than her 'performance.' And honestly I don't care enough to find out what it is...so I'll just say have a nice day and leave it at that.
Shadowman wrote:shamone wrote:if she was that bad, why was she cast.
It's a common occurrence that many directors don't realize how awful an actor or actress is going to be until it's too late.

LOST Cybertronian wrote:Michael Bay has revealed that it was Steven Spielberg who demanded Megan Fox be fired from Dark Of The Moon. This is according to a few UK websites including the Mirror.
They say that Spielberg was outraged after Fox compared Bay to Hitler on his sets. Michael Bay insists that he was not hurt by the comment. This news is being reported as coming from Bay himself. He said: “You know the Hitler thing? Steven said: ‘Fire her right now.’”

It's not just her acting, it's the fact that time and again she's proven herself to be a contemptable human being. A precious little b**** who was more than willing to alienate her coworkers to fall back on a career that in the end she wasn't able to sustain on her own. I mean for frak's sake she turns down an offer to join a king for dinner, airheadedly tossed Nazi-themed insults at her Jewish boss, acts like a spoiled brat on set and treats everyone like scum beneath her boots. Then she gets fired and everyone is honestly shocked?
If you ask me she had it coming. I hope that a few years from now she can reflect on what she could have had if she'd been a decent human being.

again with the hate talk.
Look if you have a problem with the warrior goddess in the movie blame mr bay who hired her twice. Otherwise you are using insulting language for someone you never met.
Oh no she turned down a king who rules over an undemocratic state which persecutes its people, and which discriminates against people who are not the way their society demands

When she broadcasts it to the entire world?
When you lead a public life, expect public opinion. If she doesn't like it, then too bad. She should suck it up or get the **** out.
For now I'm content to enjoy the fact her acting career is totally destroyed.

I think youve got more chance of angels flying out ya backside than her acting career being over

So let me get this right.
Megan Fox is a public figure, therefore it's okay for you to voice your opinion of her in a public forum.
Capt.Failure is not a public figure, but if people say something bad about your in a public forum it's wrong. I seem to recall you reporting a few posts from others when they've said stuff about you.

The problem with that is three-fold.
1) She can't act.
2) Her popularity is vicarious of two popular films, not anything she did on her own.
3) Jona Hexx and Jennifer's Body.
To sum it up she has a 50/50 hit-to-flop ratio and nothing she did in her two hits contributed to it being a hit, eye candy aside. I rest my case.

Just because she was hired twice doesn't absolve her of everything she's done wrong. It's no one's fault but her own. Now quit with the blame shifting.

It speaks volumes that we can't even remember who else was in it besides her. Goes to show you how that film is a black mark on her former career.

Both megan fox & shia le beouf have done several movies that they weren't the stars nor star attraction. they were both playing SAFE ROLES. because if the movies failed, the blame went on the main star, the writters, production company, director & so forth.
Examples: shia did that indiana jones & wall street movie where he wasn't the star.
Examples: Megan fox did that jonax hex movie where she wasn't the star.
the only way these non-starring roles movies that bomb in theathres can hurt a actors/actresses career is if theirs more three of them.
Honestly even if both shia & megan fox never make anymore movies. they still have more money than they know what to do with. they've both got at least a bunch of millions sitting in a bank.
