Agreed. Still say Prime's was more heroic, but Ratchet was a hero through-and-through.


Prime's actions overall were more heroic/important, but one mustn't forget Ratchet was a non-combat medic who was 'armed' with laser scalpels that tickled Megatron... and I believe he saved the Autobots... what, three or four times and was 2-0 against Megatron?
And his final act of self-sacrifice near the end of the comic's run brought down the Ark and defeated Megatron, Galvatron II, Shockwave, and Starscream all at once (though, the next issue revealed that Galvatron II survived, and G.I. Joe/G2 would show that Megs did too, who would then revive Starscream, and Shockwave shows up alive in some UK alternate future timelines and the Classics comics), but the very act in and of itself was a noble one.
