I apologize for not having any images, but the following is a link to a gallery of images.
http://www.thetf.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=7884&PN=1Vehicle Mode:
Dreadwing's plane mode is based on the Russian Mig-29 "Fulcrum"(
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mig-29). From what I can tell, the sculpt is pretty accurate. It does, of course, have a quite a bit of undercarriage junk, but in this case it's arranged in such a way that the robot arms look kind of link the dual air scoops on the real-life Mig, and the robot legs look to me like they're supposed to be some kind of bomb.
The plane is painted in a light grey, dark grey, and white cameo pattern, while black and silver rounding out a few details.
He also comes with two plastic missiles sculpted to resemble "flame trails," if you insert them into the thrusters. I think it looks kind of dumb, but it does add some play value.
Overall a solid vehicle mode. 8/10
Transformation:
Fairly simple compared to other Movie deluxes, yet very satisfying and devoid of annoying Automorph features.
Nice transformations in BOTH directions. 10/10
Robot Mode:
He looks...weird. Kind of like Armada Thrust(cone head, wings on back, thruster arms), but with Movie Starscream's proportions(big arms, small legs). It's not bad per se, just odd. Personally, I think he could have looked really tough if it weren't for his thin neck and Lens-Head. Those two things really just suck out all the menace and turn Dreadwing into an instant comedy. I'm constantly reminded of the those pit droid things from Star Wars(
http://www.ebondi.com.au/starwars/pics/JPG/pitdroid.jpg).
Anyway, his colors are pretty much the same, only with less cameo pattern and more black as well as purple in the joints.
Dreadwing probably has the best articulation out of the deluxes, and even as a few points on ball-joints as well as waist articulation.
A decent robot mode. 8/10
Problems:
The socket on my figure's right arm isn't deep enough to accommodate the opposing ball-joint, thus it pops off a lot. I have similar problem with on of his wings.
Also, my figure's right leg is several millimeters shorter than his left leg.
I don't know if these are unique to mine or universal.
Well, that's it. Hope this was helpful. Comments welcome!
