Movie Novel and Movie, Lets Compare
ok so lets compare the movie with the novel. for those of you that had read the novel we know that there were lots of scenes that werent on the movie. for example when frenzy locates the all spark and then calls the decepticons. in one scene it shows barricade in the street but in the book it says that he is burried under rubble and there are workers cleaning the mess then barricade receives the signal. another one is that in the book it said frenzy is a sidekick but the movie shows him as a cell phone.

Their were many differences that I noticed, for one thing, did Alan Dean Foster even have a copy of the script? I expected more similarities in their speech. Also the Autobots in the book didn't act all weird and gangsta, I liked their personalities in the book allot better.

Why do people feel the need to compare? Of course it isn't going to be all the same. These threads just turn into lame flamewars because people bitch about how different the book is to the movie.
Want different? Go read the Sailor Moon manga and then watch the show. Go read the Batman comics and watch the movie. Hel, go play Resident Evil an watch the poopy ass movies. They all have differences because the person who makes the movie has a different vision than the one who wrote the novel. Get over it.

You can never fit everything that is in a novel into a movie. It would be like twice as long then. In any case, I'm sure the DVD will have a "Directors Cut" version or something which has some scenes not seen in the theatre.
