Making the movie primarily from the viewpoint of the human characters.

Being former military and watching the movie, all I could do was roll my eyes. The whole military scenario was hokey! A Predator drone with afterburner????

I've heard people saying that the fight scenes were way too fast, totally chaotic and hard to follow. Well, that's how war is. It's chaotic and nuts and really really loud. You got all these things happening at once and ammo flying every which way and things exploding... AND ALL THAT OTHER STUFF! Stuff happens fast. Anyway, having the fight scenes be like that portrayed what it would be like to actually BE there in the thick of things.
I'm not in the military, but a lot of my relatives are.

So you'd rather have Transformers on a planet other than Earth?
I they're on Earth, expect a lot of humans. Seriously. And there have been humans since G1! What's the big deal?
Just because it was on Earth doesn't mean there has to be humans. It could take place in a world where humans are wiped out.
I didn't mind the humans in the cartoon because there weren't many. I'd prefer more Transformers to robots.

"Simple. Disguise. And it sure beats walking."
Second purpose of transforming is speed in mobility. Like Megatron transforming into a cybertronian jet. Zero disguise points, maximum speed points.
