Hey Guys! Just wondered if everybody else had lists of what they wanted to look for at Botcon this weekend?

How are the prices for figures at Botcon? Would I be just as well off buying from eBay?

It's my first Botcon.

I'll just be excited to actually SEE all these things in person

Now there's a good question.

Personally, I'm looking for 'white' figures and 'chromed' figures.

Wheeljack, Ramjet, Sludge, etc.

Things that are hard to discern from online auctions like yellowing and chrome damage are things I hope to overcome by buying in person.

I suppose I will have achieved my goals if I come back with either a 100% kick ass Wheeljack (G1) and Computron

or

a pile of good quality and inexpensive vintage stuff.

YEAH!!!! we can all celebrate now becuase the total number of chicks has greatly increased... about 150-200%!!! This will be my 6th con, and there are really not to many hot chicks, and if they are there they are typically already accompanied... as is the case with my good friend Lapse Of Reason...

The prices are the same as they are anywhere... sometimes you get the deal, sometimes you get shafted... just watch youself, and try to know what you want... I will have my Toyfare, Cybertronian Recognition Index, and G2 guide and completeness books on hand... speaking of that... anyone have a pic of Overlord with all accessories in good condition? Just one fig I have been looking for a while now... I will also be looking for G1 Bruticus, Piranicon, or Monstructor... I need to complete my Gestalts... G1, then G2, then Beast Machines, Then I will have them all!

I saw Predaking (D-78) for $160 on Toyhell.com (I paid $200).

Besides, she is totally ambivalent about Transformers so I doubt anyone at a Transformers convention is going to sweep her off her feet (except me, of course).

My advice - don't be that guy. Especially don't be like Bargearse Optimus (6th costume from the top, not wearing a helmet). If he's there, I'm keeping my wife the hell away from him. Don Juanimus Prime will not take her away.
