It finally happened. I've been able to get Blackout, Scorponok, Starscream, Ratchet, Ironhide, and RV Prime without any issues whatsoever.
Then tonight happened. I got home from work and had a package waiting for me. It was deluxe Brawl from Hasbrotoyshop.com.
I start transforming him, starting with the legs, just like the instructions say, no problem.
I move on to the arms inside the turret. Somewhat complicated, but they come out. Still no problem.
Then the moment of truth, time to transform his chest with the Automorph technology. I start folding the chest down. The treads on both sides go up.
Just as the chest was about to be in place, I hear a snap, and feel something hit me in the face.
I look down, and it's a red half piece of a gear. One of the gears that lifts the treads into shoulder pad position snapped.
Despite his floppy should pad, I still love the figure. However, I will be scoping out Walmart for a chance to exchange him for one that is not broken.

Huh, so that was the automorph? Well, if it's any consolation, mine never worked in the first place so I didn't know it was screwed up. I just looked under the hood and the gears just spin against them selves and don't connect to jack! Crap, he was the one I thought was the best built too.
