My Good Deed For The Day.

Postby Optimist_Prime » Wed Feb 27, 2008 12:25 am

My mom always told me,"Do one good deed everyday". I was at Wal-mart on Monday browsing, and of course nothing new. There was a mother and her two sons there also. The younger one was on cloud nine already because he got his Power Ranger! *cue guy in cardbord city* The older one(probably about eight) had like ten bucks to spend on a transformer. He picked out a deluxe Jazz, and saw a pic of BB on the card back. He and mom went through every peg and no '08 BB. I was just casualy looking at the deluxes placed up on the risers, and somewhat to my surprise I yank out an '08 BB. Luckily I already had him, so I made the day of some kid because he walked out with his Bumblebee.

Wow. You resisted the urge to sell on ebay for tons of money, to give a kid a BB.

You sicken me.

yeah, it's in his avatar.

That was nice, but what if you DIDN'T have BB yet? Would you just walk away with him, passing right by the mom who saw what you had?

Transformers are toys, and though first impulse may be to snatch'n'grab, I still would have given him up. I don't mean mean to sound corny, but I am a pretty nice guy. You'll just have to blame my parents for that  .

You've made me guilty I've bought 3 and never given it to a kid.
Heck, I just leave before someone notices.......even with '76 BB.
I'm horrible.
But good job, and I honestly can say I'd probably never do it unless the kid cried.

I don't know how many times I've picked out the cooler transformer for a kid in the toy aisle. They pick-up dropblast or what-not and you can see in their eyes they really want bumblebee or jazz. I always pick it up from the top peg or where ever and give it to the kid.

Corny as it sounds, the happiness on the kid's face is worth it.

Kudos to being a good person :APPLAUSE:

i must say one thing though, i sometimes see a kid wanting a toy or a game and the look of joy that maybe its something they really want, but arent demanding it, and then the parents yanks them away shouting that they arent wasting money on cheapo plastics toys. It makes me remember what its like being a kid who doesnt get a lot, and the dissapointment every time you saw the one thing you always wanted and could never get, no matter how cheap. Actually makes me sad now

You sick-minded decepticon. I say he made a good deed, making somebody's day is the beest thing to feel in your life. Wow. Is there still anybody who doesn't have an 08 BB? there were tons of 'em... BTW, maybe he didn;t even have the urge?

I saw a kid with his mom looking at some legends figs. As you know, i'm a great legends fan, so i wondered if i should advice him which one to get. But i didn't say a word, i just looked in pain as the kid took Bonecrusher. I wanted to get him later.
Looks like i will have to get him for a bit higher price (carrefour sells 'em for 16.90pln each, "smyk" goes for 19.90. ;<)
This not badass. It's so BAD, it's ASS!

i dont have the 08 bb. I only have 3 movie figures full stop, deluxe Barricade and classics camaro BB and voyager thundercracker. Thundercracker is ok, and barricade looks good in alt mode but BB is one of my least favourite, i cant describe how much i dislike the damn thing
