Now for the helmet fix.
On this side you can see a faint line in dim light.. But in bright light you cannot see anything.

I also have larger side pouches coming in soon.
Once I finish my mukluks I will snap a completed pix.

Thanks..

It is a hobby.. I don't collect many toys anymore so I have to do something..

Of course this will change once TF classics come out later in the year.

Alright, still, I'd never think to get a costume. Maybe to preserve one, but to those extents...

I'm to lazy :D

Still, every now and then I'll get a nice blade for myself. I won't walk around with nothing stupid, but I have some trust worthy idiot friends who know to protect the upholstry.

Last summer we got hand crossbows and a used box of duckie lawn planters for $60 at a flea market. Then I got off topic, so I'm just gonna end this with, Have Fun With What You Do :D

First thought was 'ack zombie thread', but then I remembered the board wipe, which I suppose makes this kind of less zombieish...

But since the thread is here, this would be a good opportunity to ask something I was wondering.

Are the Imperial Snowtrooper and GAR Clone Marine different aside from the paint job?

If not, buying a crap snowtrooper costume you have to repaint anyway would be preferable to building a suit from scratch.

On a side note, I lamented my poorness yesterday, when the thought jumped in my head that it would be awesome to walk into our department meeting in Mandalorian Beskar on 10/31/08. Looks like I'll have to settle for Indiana again.
Check out my books, Titanomachies and Divine Retribution, on my blog!

That is awesome! I love snowtroopers! If you take it out for a convention or something make sure you take some pics and share them here.

I have trooped it in a couple of events since I made this thread.
I need to work on a strap that pulls the chest down so it relieves the pressure it puts on my back.

This is from this mornings "March Of The Superheroes"

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v724/ ... 20Hall.jpg

For those that do not kow me I am dressed like Anakin on the left side.
It was a march to raise awareness of all the youth violence that has been taking place in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina.

I liked the snowtrooper costume. Of course Annekin looks cool too. Most people don't know that the people in the 501st have to build their own costumes. It is a lot of work.
