The Club can only retool one aspect of a toy, so either just the head or just the sword, but not both, could be retooled for a potential Blitzwing-as-Broadside remold.Wolfman Jake wrote:A TFCC version of Broadside using the Generations Blitzwing mold would be interesting. Retool the head, retool the sword as an axe, choose the appropriate paint deco.
Armada molds are too old for the Club to use now. This year's theme will consist of "Classics and Friends" molds, at least one Energon mold, and maybe some Prime molds (with Cannonball being the only one in the set).RiddlerJ wrote:I was thinking Broadside in relation to talk of using the Tidal Wave mold.
Where did that come from?Dead Metal wrote:The ship is called the Tidal Wave, there is nothing that suggests that the Tidal Wave mold is being used, other than the coincidence of it being made up of 3 parts.

Tidal Wave was an Energon mold too. In fact, the Energon mold is slightly retooled from the Armada mold. I'm not saying it WILL be Tidal Wave; all I'm saying is that the "Energon but not Armada" rule doesn't rule it out as a possibility.
As for Prime molds... I'm still assuming Thundertron will be part of the set, because how could he NOT be? He's a pirate and the captain of the Tidal Wave.
Being redecoed for the Energon line doesn't make it an Energon mold if the mold didn't originate with that line.GuyIncognito wrote:Tidal Wave was an Energon mold too.

Souvenir Troop Builder set? Wait... Armada Tidal Wave is in 3 parts, and there will be 3 Souvenir Sets. This looks enticing for providing an incentive to get all 3 Sets
Three sets, three troop-builder figures, three components of Armada Tidal Wave.
Half-Life 3 confirmed.![]()
In all seriousness, I doubt Tidal Wave would be the "character everyone knows about".
As for guessing something, I really got nothing. Drawing a blank on this.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Sabrblade wrote:But where is it implied that the Star Seekers' ship is made of three parts?
Though, is that a suggestion that, if they were the use the Armada Tidal Wave mold, that its three components would be split across souvenir sets? I really don't think the Club would do that since, if one or two of those sets were to sell out before the rest, that would suck for those who would miss out on getting all three sets. Plus, the troop builder set is one of those three, so it can't have a component since that set usually contains two or three of the same figure.
