Well, like the Star Wars toys, hopefully the TF toys they make from this will look more realistic...I mean, how the heck do you get something like that to TRANSFORM? His head is just too f---in big! My god, it's like if Jay Leno and R2D2 had a love child.

OK, I know that the series has to appeal to kids but give kids some credit.

It seems like they have take every really good idea and stick a really hideous animation style on it. What happened to the good old days when people actually looked like people?

Why must we have weird proportions and outlines that never stay still even when the character does?

I dont understand why these dont look like the movie figures? How the heck are they gonna make toys from these pieces of rubbish? Unless they dont transform.

If you wanted a new western style series then why not give it back to Mainframe (or whoever made Beast Wars)? They gave some intelligent stories and good visuals.

Hang your head in shame Hasbro/Cartoon Network.

I suddendly love the movies designs now...

I like it.

I wasn't expecting anything other than that, however- Tartakovsky's designs are always angular, and while I'm not particularly fond of his work, it's a welcome change from the other styles.

Besides, this may provide an opportunity for a more humorous and engaging Transformers series, depending on their age bracket.

EDIT: And in hindsight I can't help but laugh in the general direction of all those folks who constantly glitched and moaned for a TF series made in a Western country because they couldn't stand the Japanese series'... Well, you guys got what you wanted. Happy now?

When the series comes out, look at the credits...virtually all CN's animation is done overseas anymore...outsourced. ANd remember that the orginal series was made overseas too. I apologize if someone else brought this up before me...

Yes, and how many people stay awake until 5am just to watch Voltron? Very few, either they were up already, insomnia, or waiting to go to work when it comes on.

They did that with Reboot when they aired the new episodes, they put Reboot on at 5am, after putting it on at god awful time on primetime, hoping it would get better ratings, then they canceled it.

Actually Reboot wasn't cancelled. They ended it with a good closure, look it up and you will see, but everything else I agree about. They did cancel good shows that didn't end good.

Well... what can I say..?
Let's just wait and see, right?

Everybody started shouting when they started the movie and it seems that in the end everything turned out okay after all...
I am going to do the same with this... although I have much less faith in this than the movie... :-S

I have to admit, I did like some of Samurai Jack and loved Dexter's Lab. Didn't he also do the Powerpuff girls? Those little bitches rocked...

Let's face it, the toys WILL NOT LOOK LIKE THIS. They may have special action figures that don't transform and look like the TV show (kinda like Cyber Stompers or FAB's) but you simply cannot design a toy to transform when it's head makes up 70% of it's body...except Megabolt..

Im in. Just tell me were to sign. What i think they should do is let Adult Swim make a TF cartoon for us older fans. Maybe have it set in the movie timeline or just make a new one. Or maybe let another cartoon company make a show for the older ones. We need a Beast Wars with TFs that turn into cars and tanks and crap like that. Hopefully hasbro will hear our cries and help us. I doubt it though.
