Shia's "Maybe their Japanese." line made me laugh not only because it was funny, but seeing as how Transformers started out as the Diaclone and Microman toys from Japan. I wonder if that was meant as an in-joke for the fans.

Personally, I think it's a little to injoke-y for its own good.

YEah, but you also have to consider that the concept of "Giant Robots" is almost excusively Japanese... it's something that people connect to that nation very readily.

Except for watching Megatron make Jazz his bitch, that was hands down the best trailer for a movie this summer. I would have liked to hear at least Prime speak, but little was lost in not hearing him, just WOW! I have to say I may have wanted to strangle Don Murphy early on, but he was right, once I saw Megatron and Starscream move and fight, WOW! Starscream is a fricking badass, you know Bay liked him best, look at all his inflight flipping transformations. Transformers might not bring in the box office money of Spidey or Pirates 3, but it damn sure looks better then both, and I have a feeling no action movie ( Sorry John Mclane) will even come close to topping the last fight. AUTOBOTS, TRANSFORM AND HEAD TO THE MOVIES!

Megatron was built bigger than Jazz, and Jazz is only 13 feet tall IIRC.

After 3 downloads i got it to work. Oh my fraking god. That was SWEET! This movie is gonna kick ass. Lets just hope the transformation sound is in the movie. For all we know it was just thrown in the trailer to remind people what transformers are. Dumbass looking Megatron was even in it destroying something. I like the remark on how the TFs are from japan. That was great. 7-4-7 better get here fast. Or at least a bootleg. I want to see this movie. This trailer just made my day.

I still think some of the designs suck ... but the trailer got me emotional. That was the overwhelming feeling I've been waiting to see happen from something from this movie. God I love this trailer and I can't wait to see this awesome movie at Botcon 6 weeks from TONIGHT!!!

Okay, I'll admit it, I was very upset about the new designs and extremely anti-Bay at first but after watching this... Yeah I'm eating crow here. This movie is going to kick ass on sooooo many levels
