Terror wrote:Watched the trailer over and over again. Love Starscream and Barricade. Put the sucka on my PSP as well. I think the classic transforming sound should be applied to only fast transforms and not when they slow-mo it.
Terror wrote:The only actual speed scene was where OP transform where we fully hear the transforming sound. We gonna have to wait till the movie comes out to see and hear the real-speed transforming of others.
Sonray wrote:Tom_Servo wrote:First, let me say that I take back nothing of what I've said about the designs or Michael Bay's tallent and lineage.
That said, holy s*** that looks nice.
He obviously has some talent otherwise he wouldnt be able to make a film that would make you go "holy ****!"
Me thinsk Bay deserves less blasting and more credit.

Don't hear any of the robots speak yet. Just the humans. Some of their lines like Shia's and Tyrese are plain stupid which they say on the trailer. "It's a robot... Y'know like a super-advanced robot... It's probably Japanese."
"Bring It."
"He's like an angel!" "He's not gonna hurt you!"
Bet that's just an added sound on the trailer when Prime transforms. My bet his transformation will sound like all the other bots on the trailer. This is all just hype to fool people like Spiderman 3.

Give me a break. You're either a cartoon fanboy or some college intellectual that can't get his standards lower than Shakespeare.
What do you want with this? Don't say cartoon designs, and don't say intelligent dialogue. This is a summer block buster, not a french film festival.
Being shocked at any changed at this point is so lame.

Way to lower your standards... and by watching it, supporting the idea that doing whatever they wanted with little consideration of the source is "good enough".
Why do so many people in modern culture not demand excellence with entertainment products? It boggles my mind.
Everyone talks like they're spokesmen for movie writers trying to pitch a concept, literally gushing with overly apologetic excuses for inferior actions.
...gives me a headache...

And... you're probably right.
Guess I gave up on Hollywood a long time ago.
I just want to chow down on fatty snacks and have my ears blown out with mindless action.
