Just something I thought up after watching the movie again.

"Leave me behind will they? I'll bet they're having a blast with Autobot parts by now!"

The large Decepticon grumbled to himself as yet another unfortunate driver is crushed beneath his treads. Barricade and Bonecrusher had left him behind, speeding ahead to intercept the Autobots before they could reach the city. Brawl was told to meet them there.

"But the fun'll be over before I get there!"

He had complained to them.

"That's what you get for being as slow as molten slag!"

Bonecrusher said to him before they left. Bonecrusher might have hated everything, but brawl hated Bonecrusher more. So he wasn't about to mourn as he came across a smoldering wreck, surrounded by fleshcreatures taking pictures.

"Serves you right!"

He shouted to the corpse below.

Just before he started again, he picked up a familiar energy signature. He searched over the long stretch of highway, looking over the fleshling's vehicles. There, Optimus Prime! He was just within range! He aimed his cannon for the overpass supports, and fired twice. The humans went running from him as he watched the Autobot leader's vehicle form topple over and get buried under tons of concrete and vehicles. Wasting no time, Brawl began closing the gap between them, rolling over cars and crushing other vehicles under him. He would succeed where Bonecrusher had fallen, and kill Optimus before he can reach the city!

The pile of rubble began shifting and crumbling. Sure enough, the hulking form of Optimus revealed it's self. He turned to face the oncoming Decepticon and brought out his Ion Blaster. The shots he fired didn't even slow Bonecrusher down. He unearthed himself and made his way away from the humans. Brawl fired again, getting a lucky shot in and sending Optimus across the road, landing on his back and skidding a few yards.

Brawl transformed and got off the highway himself. The giant Decepticon roared as he opened fire with everything he had, Missiles, 37cm autocannon rounds, and his gattling gun. Optimus had gotten back up and began spinning and dodging. The smaller rounds found his metallic flesh a few times, but he dodged the oncoming missiles. Taking aim again he fired a few times at Brawl, though the shots did little to the armored juggernaut. Brawl stood his ground, turning and twisting so the blasts coming his way would impact against his armor rather than something vital.

Optimus strafed around Brawl, the lumbering Decepticon trying to keep up, but he was just too slow. Optimus ran up from behind and forced his blade up under Brawls left arm. He howled in pain and anger, grabbing Optimus' arm and wrenching it out of himself before pulling out his own ripper blades and taking a swipe at Optimus. They continued taking swings at one another like this before their blades locked and they strained against the other for a moment. Though, it was a moment that Brawl needed. He swung around his main cannon and fired right into the chest of the Autobot leader, sending him flying backwards and into the concrete pillar of an overpass, which came tumbling down over-top of him.

Brawl, the blast having forced him onto his back, took a moment to recover AND stand himself back up. He saw Optimus pinned under the rubble, in staisis lock. He grinned and began laughing a deep, hate-filled laugh as he advanced on him.

"Not so invincible after all, are you?"

He gloated, deploying his ripper blades again, ready to decapitate the Autobot leader. Suddenly his comm crackled to life.

"Brawl! Starscream, Blackout, and I are on our way the human city, meet us there!"

"Megatron? My Lord! I will do as you command... but first I must..."

"YOU WILL be there when I arrive or I will rip you appart myself!"

".... yes Lord Megatron."

Comunication terminated. Barricade and Blackout had mentioned something about Megatron possibly still being alive, but he never really payed much attention to their gibbering. But now that Megatron was back, their victory will come as swiftly as it did on Cybertron. Brawl looked at Optimus, he was functional, but barely. He feared that if he were to destroy Prime now, Megatron would obliterate him, as he had been wanting to do it HIMSELF for millions of years. He growled, and transformed, leaving Optimus buried. He would have plenty of time to play with the Autobots before Optimus arrived anyway.
