Well guys, I'm passing on deluxe SS cause i have the leader class and really no need to waste my money on the deluxe toy and sorry if i ranted about Skyhammer toy altogther, i meant to say that, the figure is pretty awesome, especially in alt mode, and bot mode is nice as well. What i meant to say about him was that, the first Skyhammer i bought was junk do to hasbro's poor Q/C issues on their part, but when i had the figure he is pretty good and dont reget him, but when i get something like this and all the joints are so loose and the MECH weapon doesnt work, then i have to take him and back wait for another, so again, Skyhammer is pretty cool, just again hasbro just left a bad taste in my mouth and so i just ranted and took it out on Skyhammer directly. Anyway, after picking up Skyhammer, im thinking of getting Sen Prime LC and thats it for me.

alright, i think i'm ready to cave....walmart just reduced the generations figures from six pegs to three. cut 'em right in half. now there's no room for new ones to come in due to a few in overstock from the peg reduction. i checked all over springfield and didn't find anything. in fact there wasn't even a spot for them at target i don't believe and meijer had like two pegs. didn't make it to dayton but that is a little bit of a trip and didn't have the time.
soooo, if anyone finds wheeljack, thundercracker, and warpath i'm interested in one of each and preferably all at once to save on shipping costs but in a worse case scenario i could buy one at a time.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Dude, calm down. GEN is going to run thru the summer until the Prime toys come out in the fall. You have a whole three months until they hit the clearance rack. The Thundercracker/Wheeljack wave is not even due out until the end of this month and I'm sure it will be until the end of June until they are seen everywhere. Warpath is due out in June and will be warming shelves by the end of August. Try to be patient.

Man, not a day goes by on this thread where someone is not flipping out about these. Whats the deal?

well when i see stores drastically reducing or not even carrying them that makes worry. especially for smaller towns. and the fact that many of the larger cities are getting in what seems like plenty according to the posts here, well.....i think i reserve the right.
on an interesting note though, i e-mailed hasbro about the availability of grappel and windcharger and this is the response i got:
"Hi lucas,
Thank you for contacting Hasbro, Inc. regarding the Transformers Voyager Class Solar Storm Grappel and Scout Class Windcharger. We appreciate your interest in our company and products!
Please be assured the Solar Storm Grappel and Windcharger are still in production and shipping to stores.
Although these products are not currently on www.hasbrotoyshop.com, we ask that you continue checking for availability. Regrettably, we cannot guarantee these items will be available but can tell you the website is updated frequently.
All current Hasbro products are also carried by Toys R Us (http://www.toysrus.com), Wal-Mart (http://www.wal-mart.com), Kmart (http://www.kmart.com), Target (http://www.target.com), as well as other toy and mass merchandise retailers.
Some of our products can also be found online at http://www.entertainmentearth.com (figures & collectibles).
Regrettably, we cannot guarantee product availability at any one store.
Again, thank you for your interest."
so does this support the repackaging for the dotm theory? let's hope so!

For everyone around the Toledo/Oregon area:
1. Wal*Mart on Navarre Ave: looks like they finally set Wave 1 this morning: pegs overflowing w/ deluxes, CV, HA, lots of voyagers, leaders
2. K-Mart on Navarre Ave: some Wave 1 deluxes with a couple of Wave 2 thrown in, CV, voyagers, HA, leaders, they also have the silver deluxe BB set with human and motorcycle (daredevil pack?)

Shockwave still non-existent in this area, I've been to 5 stores this week

I don't agree tht it means anything. I work in an office and HR and CS have plenty of preprinted forms in which they fill in product info, dates, names, etc. Windcharger and Grapple have been released in the global market as early as November of last year. This kind of selling tactics happen when you are a part of a global marketplace. It will not be the last time this happens. I got my Grappel off of a dude in Indiana for $27 and he had 16 in stock at the time. They are only scarce in the states. Everywhere else they are warming shelves. Get them while you still can modestly. They will be up 3x in price by this time next year. After everyone loses hope.
The only RTS Transformers that are being repackaged are Bumblebee, Optimus, Jazz, and Tracks. They probably selected those because they are either indirectly or directly associated with the movie characters. Bumblebee and Optimus are both main characters in the films, and Jazz was in the 1st one. Tracks was probably just a random choice. Plus his mold is still in heavy production because of Wheeljack's soon to be mass release.
If you are worried about the overstock I have a solution. Every time you go into the Walmart, destroy one or two of the packages to the point where they have to put them in the damage goods box. Soon enough they will have to order more. Oh yeah, do this to Thunderwing especially. What moron at Hasbro decided that he should be packed 300 to a case? They should be fired...........make them pay at $11 a pop........ :D

Hey jaws! You're in luck. If you don't mind driving 15-20 min. north to Monroe, Michigan. The Meijer up there have a few Shockwave(s). Also, both Meijer and Walmart up in Monroe, Michigan have tons of DOTM. I still haven't checked the Meijer in my area (Sylvania), but I'll find out this weekend.

First of all, we're still not sure about the 4 you just mentioned about being in the DOTM lineup, we're only speculating or the information that someone found on TRU.com could be a mistake and as often as TRU makes mistakes, i would wait for proof, unless its been posted here that its official these 4 will be released under the DOTM packaging. Now about RTS SS Grapple and Windcharger, from what ive read and heard, Grapple was released Globally but very small numbers to the U.S., but the Asian market got a plethora of them compared to anywhere else or theres a distribution problem if so, i have 3 good examples: if you remember TF 2.0 line up they have Predacon Bruticus and Vector Prime and according to this website only 13 Predacon Bruticus has been found and theres no listing of Vector Prime, but only 3 was found in my area months after the line ended! and another example is Transformers ROTF Red Rampage they were less than 10 spotted through out the U.S. and i remember reading about Hasbro saying is was poor distribution on their part and i believe they said what was out on the shelves or pegs was it, no more to be produced. About WC, i have hardly seen any ANY sightings in the U.S since November, only in Canada has he been spotted and then Hasbro decided to drop the scout line. Personally, I think Hasbro couldn't handle this many lines coming out with DOTM coming into play so they had to stop either one or both lines, and i've heard that Generations line has been put on a hiatus until the DOTM figures is coming to an end and just like Takara, and even they said that the United line will be on a hiatus until the DOTM is either almost done or finished. So, all i can say is that, yes im still needing a SS Grapple, and WC, but theres no way im paying $50 for each when i can buy a United Grapple (which i have) for the same price and looks 10 times better than Hasbro's version and sorry i'm not spending $65 for a scout just because Hasbro decides at the last min to end the scout line because of the DOTM figures coming out! It would not be funny for anyone to pay $40 or $50 dollars for WC now and next year he may come out again, or Hasbro may have this huge shipment on its way out for every retailers.

Oh, about TF 2.0 predacon bruticus and vector prime, since i couldnt find them in time before the line ended, i ordered them from HTS and both figures took 1 month and came directly from Hasbro facility in china! I still remember the bright red sticker that said LAX airport security on the box.

Wal*Mart on McCord in Holland: I practically sh%t myself today since they were just putting out wave 1 DOTM, pegs overflowing with deluxes, voyagers, CV, lots of gaps in the TF area.
Target in same area hasn't replenished since 16th it appears, deluxes scarce, ample amount of voyagers and leaders yet.

Even if, down the road, Windcharger is released again he will not be part of the RTS line, making the original worth a bundle more because of his rarity. Same for Grapple vs United Grapple. I personally loved the idea of adding the rubsigns to give them a retro feel. Many others feel the same as i do making these two very sought after. Trust me, I just got my Windcharger for a modest $40 last week and it is nice. Pictures cannot do it justice. I thought it would be the same red color that Hubcap has, but it is a dark red. Which makes his car mode awesome. I agree that they will use his mold again as they always do, but I'm not so sure about a re-release. They'll just repaint it and call him something nonexistent as they always do.
Generations is being discontinued, not hiatus. Unless you mean like how Universe went on hiatus and became Generations. The last figure in production for the line is Warpath. HTS has created a listing for him, so it won't be long until you can get him everywhere. He has already been spotted several times thru the midwest.
I do, however, wonder what will become of the Rumble/Frenzy mold. They were haulted altogether, so I think your theory of reissue would be more plausible with those two. And the Breacher/Hubcap repaints. We will see them sometime as Hasbro never passes up the opportunity to sell two or more toys with one mold.

I gave in to my plastic addiction and ended up purchasing Icepick, Sandstorm, and Backfire from the HA Basic line. I was really impressed with these guys, especially Sandstorm, he seems to be my favorite of these three andthey do kind of fit into the Gen/Classics/RTS aesthetic. I would say to take a chance on at least Sandstorm from that line. Backfire is a close second though. I also managed to pick up a Commander Powerglide, watch out fot the paint on the wings though. I am pretty much done w/ the DOTM line for now. There are no deluxes that impress me at the moment, maybe a Mirage figure will come out and look good.

The only reason i got CC cause the clipping of the fingers and i got one thats not clipped, but im done with this line, other than maybe Sen Prime, but man he looks too much pink than red for me.

Totally worth it, dude--you won't be disappointed. Good, complex transformation too--his alt mode is one of the best of the three movie lines so far.

As of right now, I've only gotten five from the DOTM line--Megs, Sentinel, Shockwave, Crankcase, and deluxe Bumblebee. Skyhammer's probably going to get picked up today--but after that, I'll wait for leader Ironhide, unless one of the new HA figs grabs my interest.

Cool thanks for the info, but i've had no chance to look or pick up Sen Prime, been very busy this weekend, but all i can say is after Sen Prime i may consider LC Ironhide, but i really need to make a decision cause collecting Transformers are coming to a haitus for about 6 to 8 months so, you'll have to tell me all about whats new and improved.

Hiatus indeed--I'm actually going to more or less stop collecting after the movie line is done. I might get an occasional one after that--but for the sake of my wallet, it's time to take a break.

LC Ironhide's a must-get for me, though. And I picked up DLX Starscream late last week--I like him a lot better than I thought I would. Good look in both modes, decent transformation, etc. Not a big fan of his Mechtech weapons...but good toy otherwise.

I am a sucker for Scout class figures for some reason. Really none of the deluxes have impressed me that much. I may get a Crankcase and Sen Prime but that would be it until HA Roadbuster comes out in our area. Focusing on finishing some G1 stuff right now.

The Scouts are awesome, but what a wasted opportunity on the G1 minibots. So far we have only seen Windcharger, Huffer (PCC), and now Powerglide, who should have not been in the movie line as he looks more G1. Hopefully we will see rumble and frenzy here as well. But, we still need Brawn (Hasbro could have retooled Scattershot for him rather than basically doing it and calling him "FireTrap", Gears, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and Beachcomber. Warpath is fine as a deluxe, and Seaspray as a voyager. Cosmos would work better as a deluxe or voyager. There is a Rotf Beachcomber as a scout, but his mold is not G1 enough.
As far as season 3 minibots go, we already have Hubcap and Fallback asa deluxe, so the other three would be a bonus.

I know they have made Cosmos, Brawn, and Beachcomber as minibots, but Legends class is too small.

I was putting some of the boxes that i saved away and did anyone notice that Warcry from FP came in a red box? Technically red means Autobot to me and the bio card suggests that as well. Basically the first Autobot that FP has made that wasn't an armor upgrade except for Defender.

Hey Shok, dont mean to rain on your parade, but i think FP kinda did a homage to some older micromaster bots, Warcry is suppose to represent Growl see here: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Growl and Flameblast is suppose to represent Fireshot see here: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Fireshot Both are Decepticons and both are part of micromaster combiner set with their military companions! If you like using Warcry for an Autobot thats cool, but the homage isnt there, but for me, which i have these two and love them both, they are independent Decepticon bounty hunter/scouts that work together to get their money and bounty...dead or alive.

I realize that he is based on Growl but he came in a red box and to me that means he is an Autobot to me. Just sayin'.

I was playing around with Sentinel Prime and ROTF Optimus Prime and found out you can swap the hands between the two guys and they work great.
