You know go lion is another term for voltron in japan.

That was on Syfy just a little while ago. (And I mean that literally, it was on just a couple hours before I posted this) I wasn't watching it, I just kind of passed it off as an old anime in the vein of Robotech. Then I heard the words "Wave Motion Gun." Now, I've never seen Space Battleship Yamato before, but damn it if I don't recognize the ship or it's signature weapon when I see them. It's a shame I didn't realize that until nearly the end credits, I would have actually paid attention to it if I had known.
