Let's see, I love Jazz but Stepper just blows him out of the water. RiD Scourge, Universe Ultra Magnus, Skullgrin, Sky Shadow, G2 Pyro from Inferno, G2 Rapido from Prowl, Botcon Sky-Byte is amazing, Wings Banzai-Tron from E Mirage, every repaint of Leobreaker that came out after Cybertron ended... a full 80% of Botcon & Club figures could be on this list! I had both the E Rodimus and his white repaint Checkpoint for years and I didn't like the mold until Wings Thunderclash! Hell, now I'm tempted to bring it full circle and paint Checkpoint to be Classics Machine Wars Optimus (the only version of the original Thunder Clash I own)!

zodconvoy: the Universe Ultra Magnus being the white Prime repaint? Or am I forgetting one? White Prime wasn't all that, and I would skip him again if that's all he was. I suspect that if it wasn't for the City Commander upgrade he'd be pretty much ignored by the majority.

The gray-colored Skullgrin retool was more to my liking, although I'm still not a fan of the goat-man head sculpt. Would have bought him, but there were a few other TF's I liked a lot more being released near the same time and I didn't want to spare the cash for him.

Skullgrin is one of the few Generations figures I cvouldn't get into mainly, because I still see it as Straxus/Darkmount. By the way, Skullgrin has a pretty epic appearance in one of the comics as well, I think it's Marvel #45?

This one isn't so much that I didn't like the original, originally I wasn't impressed.

I'm not going to lie, I'm not crazy about the color brown, especially on a toy.
I got one the year they came out, just because I figured I was getting Astrotrain I might as well get Airrazor too.
Took it out of the box, transformed it, thought "Meh" and put it back in the box.

Anyway, I was bored the other night and decided to check it out again after all these years. Surprise! I really like the thing
Mini-con ports and a great range of motion in the legs. the small pegs are a little annoying, but don't ruin it for me. With the right accessories she will pop and bling. Mini-con Dreadwing is really nice with her, kind of like a tie in with the Beast Wars persona(makes a great shield and the faction symbols don't bother me for mini-cons).



Kind of makes me wish I hadn't passed on Slugslinger too.

I vote that we rename this thread the FOC Optimus Prime/Ultra Magnus Celebrity Makeover thread. It's like a before and after shot of the best facelift ever.
