painting lines
I'm trying to finish the paint details on my new custom. Problem is I have no idea how to paint a line on a flat surface that already has the main color applied. I was thinking tape might work but I am afraid of taking off the other paint. What should I do?

These are total guesses, but -
1) Two pieces of masking tape back to back, with a slit cut down the center. Secure it over the part you want to paint and then zip a brush or texta down the slit.
2) Dip a fine cotton thread in the paint, blot most of it off, then (keeping it taut) press it briefly to the panel you want.
3) Attach a very fine brush or pen to something mechanical which only moves back and forth - a bacon slicer, a rotary saw holder, anything. Bring the item to be painted just close enough to the moving paint tip for the line to be drawn as a quick, arrow-straight slide.
4) Like (2), but with the edge of a piece of paper.
5) Like (2), but with the edge of a smooth knife blade.
