As GrimSqueaker noted the late, great Douglas Adams would be a fair comparison. Robert Rankin and Tom Holt are two other names that spring to mind, although Holt tends to be a bit more 'booky' in the way that his humour is realised and doesn't get as many lol moments per page.

True. Does it make ir worse that we have nothing better to be doing at two in the morning?

Speaking of which I've got a day of opperating a transplanting machine ahead of me and really should get SOME sleep before I find myself inviting a nasty industrial accident. Good night all.

Wow, morning already.

While the compo might be nice, how would I transform my figs with mangled hands?

I do I want to reorganize to incorporate the new botcon additions and then I'll show mine.

What I'd really like to do is get some energon cubes and maybe those little diaclone KOs of Ratchet and Sparkplug, would be cool if they made them in their exosuits as well.

EDIT:

Okay here is the display with the Botcon guys tucked in for the time being though I want to reorganize further perhaps after I get some energon to fight over.

Autobots

Decepticons

Classics and Movie

The rest

Armada and others

Cyberton and Robot Heroes
