Brilliant! It even explains the nose....

Like computers were alien to him.
True - but computers made a HUGE leap from '99 to 2007....
in '99 we had barely made it into the phase where most computers would have a GUI. And the internet was just past its infancy. Now the 'net is filled with pics, flash, java, online shopping....

What do you mean, graphical user interface was only just becoming common? I'd had Macs for years by 1999! There's computer games from the early 90's that require a mouse to function. Of course, my school had only just upgraded from Apple IIe to power Macs and power PCs, but that was in rural Nebraska. As for the internet, shopping may have been new, but there was lots of information, and porn was not unheard of. Not trying to be mean, but I remember things differently.

OK OK, so was Sarah being sarcastic about the cell phone?
I just caught the "SO I just push these 9 numbers to call people?"
My Nephew was talking to me at the time.
I love how the Terminator recreated his skin, but once again.... Things are getting to be too easy again. recreating skin in the bath tub? Seriously?!?!?!

I would have rather seen him take over a facility like a genetic research building or at least one part of it and grow the skin, obviously this was accomplished quickly as I'm sure that guy was not in the bathroom with the terminator too long. He could do it with the help of the human and fairly quietly, this one seems to be a little bit smarter than your average model 101 terminator.

Well, he did essentially 'kidnap' (sorta) a brilliant medical researcher...
But it was definitely "pushing it" in terms of suspending disbelief....

Sarah is apparently trying to prevent the war.
Did it ever occur to her that if she succeeds, John would be erased from existence? Surely she has seen Back to the Future.

Hard to say, but the series seems to be based on time paradoxes...
Remember, John sends Kyle Reese back from future - and Reese ends up becoming John's dad!
I think Terminator uses a different 'science' for time travel than BttF does....

If she stops the war, billions of lives are saved. It would be the ultimate sacrifice but its for the greater good! Besides, John shouldn't exist anyway.

Please don't start the "Why doesn't Skynet send a Terminator to time ________" questions....
I love the Terminator series (film, movie, etc) - but there are so many plots in time travel plots that Prime, Magnus, Motormaster, etc could all drive through it....
