To be fair, from your original post, it sounds like you're referring to "Prime Jazz and Shockwave from a year ago," as "so many bloody cyberverse figures." There's no clear separation between the two ideas, if they are meant to be separate. Sorry for the misunderstanding though.

quite alright. i generally write the way i talk so it can be hard to follow. But either way you get my point, these sub lines are reducing the number of normal figures (deluxe and the like)

Some things about Target

1. Target's ordering system doesn't work like that though(at least from how I think you are explaining it) . Thier pos system combined with thier in stocks team are what determine what they get in.

2. The dpci's of the deluxe and cyberverse are different so they can't interfere with each other.

3. Target also seems pretty set on keeping thier stores brand, so I can't imagine that they would change things very drastically between plano gram resets(besides revisions or when a section goes ptm).

Cyberverse seems to do pretty well in my neck of the woods. I admire what Hasbro is doing with it. Mainline figures ebb and flow. I'm not entirely sure anybody's buying them except collectors, I don't see many kids perusing the TF aisles, though I'm also not generally there at times kids are likely to be. And as njb pointed out, Cyberverse and the larger scales don't really interact with each other. I mean, yes, it means less shelf space for each line, but they have a set space within the TF section and overpresence of one doesn't affect the restock rate of a different line. If there are 2 Deluxe Generations figs left and 12 Prime figs, the computer doesn't just say there are 14 figs, it breaks it down a little bit and tells people to restock the Prime guys. The Cyberverse figures take up little space but have a large peg section devoted to them, which tells me they sell well. I'm sorry it means less space for Generations, but that's the way of things. It's not 1996 where you have one line and only one line taking up the entire TF section anymore. That stopped around the time they introduced Alternators.

Punctuation is your friend. I misread this as "Prime Jazz and Shockwave", instead of "Prime, Jazz, and Shockwave", hence my confusion.

actually i talked with one of the employees -they told me they wouldn't get new stock until the old got moved out
