So far we have Breakdown, Dead End and Wildrider as confirmed Prime Stunticons. Knockout if you want to consider him an honorary Stunticon. Who else do we need. My suggestions:

PRID Ultra Magnus as Motormaster. This makes TONS of sense and instead of a hammer, give us a sword. Different head is kind of a must for him.

Yellow Knockout (different head optional) for Drag Strip. Could you imagine all of them together. Even though they could not combine, I feel like they would all look solid together as the Decepticon land forces. Vehicons, get out of the way!

If you want Decepticon land forces, why not hope for a tank? No, I suspect this is just more slack-jawed nostalgia, and to be honest, it makes me sad and angry. I joined Transformers at Beast Wars, and the focus on remembering G1 and putting aside everything else makes me sad and angry.

And seeing things like this reffered to as "slack-jawed nostalgia" makes ME sad and angry.

1 ) Nobody is suggesting we 'put everything else aside'

2 ) While the TV show of Beast Wars is one of the best we've had, the majority of toys I remember from the time were pretty much "Stand up, flip head, put tail in hand", and thus not worth remembering.

3 ) We had pretty much all the 'Scramble City' combiners recreated with at least semi-modern tech in recent years, from Energon through Generations, with the original Stunticons mostly left in the dust despite being one of the more popular groups.

You could say I started with Beast Wars as well. I got into Transformers since as long as I could remember watching the TF movie when I was 3. Then G2 came out around 1st~2nd grade and Beast Wars when I was in primary school. But, I am not a big fan of Beast Wars because it is way over hyped.

I don't know what to say about your comment. The Animated Stunticon Botcon did extremely well. Everyone loves the Stunicons because they all can be easily redecoed and retooled from Autobots.

G1 is what the entire franchise is based on. The Matrix, Primes, two factions, and so on. Even Beast Wars had 'slack jawed G1 nostalgia' when the Ark and Nemesis showed up completed with crews of said ships. Just be wary that your golden horse also had that as well.

How come people who like G1 can't have or want nice things by you? Things that everyone else wants. A Prime Stunticon team would be awesome. Note, I didn't ever say 'WHY DON'T THEY COMBINE', but merely a series of redecos, retools and homages too one of the most beloved special teams from G1 even if they don't form Menasor.

Also outside of Animated, the Stunticons have not gotten much love. So I would in a New York minute, put aside Beast Wars for some Stunticon love.

Sounds like a solid plan to me, Sirius. I'm surprised they didn't do all 5 in the PRiD/AM lines.

I could go on because it seems that each Stunticon could be a Wrecker rival. Wildrider with Wheeljack and Breakdown with Bulkhead... and Ultra Magnus with Motormaster? Tons of cool things you could do with this where the Stunicons are the Decepticon's answer to the Wreckers.

I'd prefer a Dead End that didn't roll in radioactive goo. It's a cool idea for me to undertake as a customizer, but everyone's already ahead of me...

Motormaster; http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons- ... aster.html

Maybe when I'm done everything else that's all piled up..

I would love to see some Prime Stunticons.... and I do kinda like the idea of them being the 'counter' to the Wreckers.

All in all, I would like to see more re-paints of Prime toys as different characters, PERIOD. The only thing that sucks IMHO is that Dead End and the Takara Wildrider share the same mold... I'd prefer each Stunticon to be a unique toy from the others.

As far as Knock Out, for sure I could imagine him as an 'honorary' Stunticon! I'm still really miffed that we don't have a North American release of Breakdown though.

And that PRID Magnus as Motormaster... beautiful! Although I would really like to see that mould done up as Sentinel Prime.

My guess is we might see the other two as part of a Prime themed BotCon box set/Club Subscription figure somewhere down the road. Hasbro's almost certainly done making new figures without animal parts attached to them for this line.

Knock Out would be a good choice, but I think a retool of the PRID Vehicon with a new head might work better, just because of how fiddly Knock Out's shoulders are.

Why do you guys consider Prime Dead End a Stunticon? Is it just the name? If yes, I'll stand a little further back... >:oP

The name Dead End has been used mainly for two archetypes:

1) The Classic sullen, fatalistic depression of a Stunticon warrior.
2) The gloomy and creepy Energon vampire.

Obviously, Prime Dead End fits the second category more, thus disqualifying him of Stunticon status.

But that's just me.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Well, there's already a Dead End (the Stunticon) in the aligned continuity, and while it's -possible- it could be another Dead End, but it's worth noting that Takara also used the same mold for a Stunticon, Wildrider. It gives the idea that Prime Dead End was also a Stunticon at one point some credence.

The name Dead End has been used mainly for two archetypes:

1) The Classic sullen, fatalistic depression of a Stunticon warrior.
2) The gloomy and creepy Energon vampire.

It's very important to note that Prime Dead End wasn't always a cannibal. I blame Shockwave for that one.

Obviously, Prime Dead End fits the second category more, thus disqualifying him of Stunticon status.

But that's just me.

There's no definitive answer one way or the other, but I'd imagine it's more likely that Prime Dead End was the Stunticon Dead End at one point.
