Optimus Prime wouldn't be Optimus if he didn't care for the humans at all.
He had to do his best to keep Megatron from killing humans, even if it could mean being more on the defensive, than on the offensive.

I don't think it was the fight with Bonecrusher that tired him out, aside from the civilians, he had to climb back onto the freeway, and La Traffic is murder!...or so i've heard... :grin:

Optimus had a fight with Bonecrusher and rip his head off.

Megatron had a fight with Jazz and rip his upper torso off.

I'd say they're in just about equal state.

Prime is simply much weaker, as portrayed in this new Movie.
