I was just wondering how many of you out there have pulled an all-niter to get (or try to get) a particular toy for your collection.

I'm actually attempting one such feat at the moment (I REALLY want an '09 Bumblebee) so I figured I'd see if any of you other (crazy) people have done this before me

In Australia the shops close at night so no real need to pull an all-nighter, best get some sleep and hit the stores at 9am

Well, in particular, I'm speaking of Wally-World (Walmart for some people ) which is open 24 hours a day!

It warms my heart to see a female toy collector.

I work at a night club and don't get out until 2am so I just hit up the 24 hour walmart...usually disappointed, but it's paid off a few times. Being a natural night owl helps though.

I used to be a night owl but I reticently got a day-job, so I'm used to going to bed at 11. This is pretty harsh.

Don't pull an all nighter. I managed to get 08 bumblebee at a TRU yesterday afternoon. They had restocked on Tuesday and 3/4 of the toys were gone, although they had 3 more 08 bumbles left. It was due to luck. And I wasnt expecting it and had bought a Bonecrusher beforehand. Now I've spent double than what i intended but it was worth it.

It almost comes when you go on a particular time. 10:00 at night doesn't sound like it.

I can't really trust luck like that, especially in the area I'm in. We get a lot of people just buying them to turn around and sell them on Ebay, unfortunately D:

Really? I thought the U.S. always had more trustworthy sources than in Australia. I'm in Brisbane Australia as I'm typing this btw. IMO, not a Transfan's paradise. Although it can give you surprises sometimes (with the variety I mean, the prices are horrendous).

There's loads of them, you just have to know where to look.

And I cant say I ever pulled an all nighter just to buy a tf. I only really pull all nighters when i have coursework to do (and I finished Uni a year ago, so not much of that any more).

I've pulled many. My ex-girlfriend went to college right near a 24 hour Wal-Mart. So I would go stay with her (well, she thought it was for her) and hit that Wal-Mart with all my rage and fury!

Sure, I didn't always get the figure I was looking for but it was fun. Also, sometimes after we got back from the store, I got free sex which was cool.

I've pulled a late one before and thats how I got my new deluxe Bumble Bee...I went to walmart and checked at around 11pm and they were stocking so I looked at the pallets and asked the walmart associate to open that particular box.
I also go in the morning like around 8.30am which is when they stock too...

"Pulled an all nighter?" *raises hand* Guilty as charged! Oh yes, I'll spend hours at Wal-Mart waiting for my time to strike.

I have not pulled an "all nighter" however I have toy hunted at the wee hours of the morn at 24 hour Wal Marts from time to time.

I havent pulled a all nighter but did go out at one time after 12 to go check(that was on a friday night) didnt find anything. but I do get up at 4:30 every morning for work and leave the house a 5:15, on my way to work I do check walmart to see if anything new was put up( the last few morning)and nothing. they were restocking but no new TF toys.
But TRU, I will be hitting this morning cause I know they restock last night and I will be the first this morning!

heh, i hear ya...i work 12hr overnight shifts and will occassionally swing by walmart on my way home. I have stumbled into many "good finds" this way.

of course this reminds me...wth am i still doing awake.

I love knocking granny out of her wheel chair to get at the minicons.

I wanted a classic camaro bumblebee really bad, but I just went to Amazon.com and payed 30 bucks for mine. If I had to I would've pulled an all niter though
