I've noticed while reviewing my trade paperbacks that at the end of Maximum Dinobots, Hunter still has his headmaster implants, but is otherwise OK, but in volume 2 of AHM ( which from what I can tell is the next series in order ) he has already been captured by the Decepticons, experimented on, and finally meets his end.

I get the feeling that I have missed something between those two issues. Also, I seem to recall that Jimmy and Verity died in a previous issue because of teleporting stresses, yet they are greeting Hunter at the end of MD.

Can someone here please help me get straight on the order of these publications, 'cause I'm a bit confused.

Don't feel bad I'm confused too! Verity was in the Wreckers series on Ultra Magnus' ship with cybernetic parts. I'm sure this will all make sense sooner or later. I'm also confused with the different looks of the transformers, if this is all one universe why do they look so different in every series? :BANG_HEAD:

MD is set before AHM (although it was published during AHM); and Jimmy and Verity could be saved (don't remember which issue, though...)

Yeah, it's kinda hard to keep track of it all with all the series and sub-series they come out with. I made it a point a while ago to only collect the TPs rather than all the individual little comics, so its possible I'm still missing something. I still haven't read the wreckers yet, in fact I'm still waiting for the volume 3 of the AHM TP that I ordered at the comic store. It's easy to get behind!

I noticed that the bots all look totally different in MD. It was especially apparent with the Dinos themselves where I could see a lot of influence from the Animated designs.

All Hail Megatron takes place after Maximum Dinobots. After Hunter is separated from Sunstreaker at the end of MD he is captured by the Decepticons which in part sets off the events of AHM.

Ratchet was able to save Jimmy and Verity in Devastation #5 which takes place before MD.
