Hello, long time visitor of this site and first time poster here!
I apologize if this has been asked before, but I didn't find any topics about it.
Were there ever any third party/aftermarket pieces made for MP-5? Specifically, a smaller fusion cannon and perhaps smaller hip plates?
Personally I love the figure, but this was something I had always wondered.

Re: Questions about Takara MP-5 Megatron
The only addon kit for MP-05 that I'm aware of is this one.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I am that which is, which was, and is yet to come.
And you will know my name is MEGATRON when I lay my vengeance upon you!

You're welcome
I'm still hopeful that Takara will do a new version of MP Megs in scale with MP-10 and with much better proportions etc. I never could get over how different MP-05 looks from the show model.

Re: Questions about Takara MP-5 Megatron
I agree in that I would like an updated Megatron to go with MP-10, but I am afraid that they'll stray from his G1 cartoon alt-mode.
I personally wouldn't be satisfied with a tank Megatron. He must be a gun for me, especially if it's a Masterpiece figure.
What do you think?

I'm with you on that, he needs to be a gun (again), just with better proportions. I think they might do one again. The retailers online will just have to do the same thing they always do with the orange plugs inserted into the barrels.

I think right now we would have to depend on a Takara release for a gun mold at least in America

Agreed. I can't see Hasbro (or any other US toy company) releasing a realistic looking gunformer and trying to put it on the store shelves in the toys section.

Yeah, his proportions are a tiny bit wonky, but I do love my MP-5!

And yeah, the only third party accessories I know of for him are the previously mentioned ones which, as you may have noticed from my photos, I have.
That all being said, as much as I do love him, if they made a new one in the new Masterpiece scale, that was still a gun, and that like the MP-10 improved the accuracy of the look of the figure, and that was more sturdy then MP-5, and (since, like MP-5, it would be likely to be a Masterpiece mold that wouldn't be released domestically) the cost to import one wasn't too hideous... well, I'd jump all over that!
