Yes, Robot Masters are exclusive to Japan. Although some of the mold have come straight from G2 and Machine Wars.

Just to reiterate what Raymond T. said, there wasn't a U.S. equivalent. A couple were also from Beast Wars. You should be able to get them all fairly cheap now. The exclusives I doubt, but the others, I'd think so.

cool, thanks for the info guys.... i saw the G-1 optimus and really wanted him, however im not having much luck finding him online, or anywhere for that matter.
