According to this Not only Is Soundwave in TF 2 But So Is Ravage. Adding to the Theory that the Weird Bike Sled Thing is Actually Ravage in it's alt mode.

Whoever heard of a talking cat? I doubt ANY lines would work with Ravage. He didn't say a darn thing in G1, so why not here?

Bt-11/Battle Ravage Alternator has a cat head, does that count? Plus, I used to think he was a dog when I watched the G1 Vids from the local Hollywood video

Personally, I'd have been happy if they had named Blackout Soundwave in the first film.

The loyalty to Megatron, ejecting of a smaller robot, even his head reminds me of G1 Soundwave.

He had that quietness/ beind the scenes vibe that Soundwave used to convey.

Maybe I'm wrong, what do you guys think?

Blackout originaly was Soundwave, untill the fandom complained because he wasn't a tape player.

Pesronal i think they did goo by making it blackout that leaves it open for the rest of Megtrons followers to resurect him if that is what they are planing to do. IHN. But i really hope that in the end they dont screw him up to bad becasue he really cant be a trape deck you know.
