It is to my understanding that BWII and Neo were only released on VHS and Laserdisc in Japan and haven't had any DVD releases. Except for the BWII movie, but that DVD release is said to be very hard to find.Seibertron wrote:Darth Bombshell wrote:Seibertron wrote:I wasn't aware that there were Laserdisc versions.
I don't think there are Laserdisc versions of any TF series. I think Sabrblade is shocked at the decent quality of the caps.
And I find it hard to disagree. Damn, those look awesome-o.
All of G1 was released on Laser Disc in Japan and I think the Takara exclusive series were as well, at least Headmasters was (can't remember if Victory, Masterforce and Zone were).
Beast Wars was also released on laser disc in Japan

"Spoooon!"

"Domo Arigato, mister roboto"
"Where's that punk Rodimus, I want HIM!!!"
When the going gets rough, he's super tough, with the hong kong phooey chop!"
"Awaken Nosecone, I, Grimlock, have created you"!"

Here's where I found out about BWII and Neo released on Laserdisc.Seibertron wrote:I'm pretty sure that BWII and BW Neo were never released on Laserdisc. If you can provide me with some links about their existence, I'd love to see something to the contrary. There were definitely released on VHS which is why the quality of what's out there isn't that great.

More screen captures are coming down the pipes. I'll probably start hopping around all of the different Transformers series in order to get content up for each series and then work on finishing the series up at later dates.
Enjoy!
