Robot heads in Car Robots/RID Transformations

There is more to Transformers than movies, cartoons, comics and toys. Discuss anything else Transformers here.

Robot heads in Car Robots/RID Transformations

Postby Saber Prime » Thu Oct 18, 2007 4:29 am

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but why is it that in Transformers Car Robots/Robots in Disguise their heads launch like 50 feet in the air?

Seriously watch and transformation sequence in the cartoon and their heads seem to launch out of their bodys like 50 feet then reattach to complete the robot mode.

Scourge is probly the only toy that actully does do this as his head pops out of his gut but all the others the head is basically allready there.

I am of course exagerating the whole 50 feet thing but their heads do look like their poping off when they really don't need to.

I didn't knew that until now. But I think I am familiar with the head-launch thing.

Ok, I just looked up the Car Brothers transformation on Youtube, and I'm not seeing a fifty-foot flying head. I can see heads popping into place, but flying fifty feet? Are you thinking of other characters?

Oh, and here's Scourge as well.

Hmm, their heads do pop up really fast, but I think one of the build team guys actually did shoot his head up into the air really high.

Yeah it's allot more apperent on some characters than others. Still with the Autobot Brothers thoughs 3 guys were the first Autobots I owned outside G1. (Not counting Maximals) All three of them their heads didn't pop up at all from anywhere. They should have just allready been there.

The leader of the Build team they show his head pop up from the back and you can see the head of their combined mode still in the little compartment. Then he just turns around so you can see his face.
