Saw Alice Cooper live last night

Postby the purifyer » Sun Jul 08, 2007 9:30 pm

Man is was just wow.
You cannot tell the man is 59 when he's up on stage.
hits and all. Feed My Frankenstein, Only Women bleed, Elected, I'm Eighteen, Desperado, Schools out, Poison, Lost in America etc...
There was Drum solo extravaganza with Alice and the lead guitarist getting up to the drummer's level and dueling/pounding it out on some snares. The stage theatrics were superb straight jackets, Alice dummy, swapping round the woman for a doll back and worth and slapping her in 'Only Women Bleed', pushing around a pram and then smacking the baby with a hammer in 'Dead Baby'!, he then hung himself on the gallows.
My ears are still recovering.

Has anyone else been to an Alice Cooper concert? Whether it be the old days or the recent tours. What did you see? from guillotines to dancing teeth there sure is alot. do tell

When he played Feed My Frankenstein they had what I like to call the 'Feed My Frankenstein dancers'. They had a hood on their head and chains around their necks.
Alice's voice is still pretty much as good as it ever was too.
Truly recommend everyone to check him out when he returns to America in August.

Not down here. Slayer toured Australia earlier in the year (which I missed out on :( ). Alice Cooper is touring with Heaven and Hell in September for the latter half of his U.S tour. but damn, Alice Cooper+Slayer would really go off :D

That is awesome. That would be a fun show to see. I can't beleive some of these old guys are still out there. It is cool but wow. Some of them shouldn't even be alive. uh-em-Keith Richards-and others. Glad to see them still rockin' after all these years.

That's a damn shame. Ticket prices are outrageous these days. I payed AUD$123 for floor level tickets (A class-apparently) for Alice and I can't believe i payed $50 for a t-shirt!
That's sucks Alice isn't touring Texas. It seems the closest dates are Arizona and Colorado which he'll be playing with Heaven and hell...

No more Mr. Nice Guy!

Alice Cooper is awesome. I loved his appearance in Wayne's World.
