crap! megatron looks like he has dred-loks and starscreem has no face also why are they all black and purple.this cartoon is going to stink!

Because they are shaded as background. Those aren't their actual colors.

I'm pretty sure you will be surprised with the toys when you see them. I kinda thought the same way when we first saw the designs. Then after the con, I'm more excited about the toys then the actual cartoon.

I agree with the wait and see approach for nothing else but: The only way to be suprised is to lower expectations beyond comprehension. Nevertheless I am interested in seeing how they pull it off.

The cons kinda remind me of guyes from Danny Phantom, I'm not digging this look cos I hate it.

a friend who saw the toys first hand says they are more impressive than these first images suggest, he reckons they were actually quite remarkable.

remember the initial rection to the very first OP image, it improved with the promo poster, then more with the botcon images, and now with the decepticons most of the posts seem quite optimistic, who knows, just like the movie a total reversal of opinion may happen, how many people who were hating BB design upon first look are now trying hard to find 08 version BB toy!

it just keeps getting worse and worse. it seems like the movie debacles just started a tidal wave of craptastic designs. these don't even look like tf's or robots for that matter. they look like shoddy villains that would've been in the justice league or batman cartoon. this is sad indeed.

It's probably going to either end up being the best TF cartoon ever, (Seriously), Or it could fall flat on its face and suck big donkey balls . So I guess we will have to wait and see people.

i say no to megatron. one thing i didnt like about the movie primarily was megatrons design, and if they copy that, then thats just wrong.

The new style wasn't very kind to the Decepticons. This series better have stellar writing because the art design is almost too much to ignore.

Blitzwing has triple personalities cause he's a triplechanger. That sucks for him. Megs is gonna lead in the background will Starscream is the front man.

They look pretty cool. Especially SS, Blackarachnia, and Megatron.

Heck if the toy for Megatron is good I'll get him as a replacement for the movie Leader one.

Seriously... I haven't seen the new movie yet. I couldn't be bothered to go to one of the previews last weekend, and I can't be bothered to go out tonight to see it on release night. I'll probably go see it sometime in the week.

If you gave me a choice, right now, of spending $10 to watch a feature-length movie with all the leaks and hype surrounding it, or spending the same amount to take a blind chance on the 30-minute first episode of the new cartoon, I'd choose the cartoon. There more I see and read about it, the more excited I'm getting about the prospect of something truly fresh for the franchise.
