Seperated at Birth?

Postby Swerve » Mon Oct 29, 2007 10:41 pm

Has anyone else ever noticed in the G1 cartoon that Brawn in bot form bears a striking resembalance to Man-At-Arms from He-Man?

Freaky!

Good catch.

Now we know what really happened to Brawn!

He became a Pretender like Bumblebee!

That is a good catch! Although it would be the first time the shell looked almost exactly the same as the bot inside...

It also explains that one episode on He-Man when Man-At-Arms transformed into a Windraider and flew Teela to safety... or maybe I just dreamed that. :P

I could only imagine Man-At-Arms as the shell for a Brawn Pretender. That mustache really completes the disguise.

"Brawn who? Me? No, clearly I have a mustache! I could see where you might sort of think I was Brawn, we are both rather handsome. I get it all the time."

Wasn't Stranglehold's pretender shell similar to Man-At-Arms?

I always thought of him more as a "Burt Reynolds" looking pretender shell.

A lot of bots and cons have striking appearances.

Has anyone ever noticed Megatron has a WW2 Nazi helmet, which probably GL used for Darth Vader? And the GIJoe vipers do have them too.

And how about optimus? He wears a baseball hat, with a few atteneas on it.

I'd be willing to pay a decent sum of money for a black Trans-Am toy that transformed into a realistic looking Burt Reynolds figure.

Does anyone else have a seperated at birth suggestion? It can be a cartoon ot toy version of any Transformer that resembles anyone else real or fictional. Just dont do a G1 Prime looks like Classics Prime or something along those lines.
