Sequel concepts!

I loved Transformers, and it had its fair share of kickass scenes and homages, but I think now that the movie has proved successful, the second one will have a bigger budget and more potential. This thread is for discussing potential scenes in the next movie, and even the third one. That being said, I want to see a Starscream versus Megatron fight in mid-air. I also want to hear "I still function" and a little bit of "light our darkest hour".

I also want to see the Constructicons, and I've got some neat scene ideas. Note: These may conflict with personal opinions, but please, no "omg Hook needs to stay like in GEEWUN!!" posts.

1) First of all, how do they combine from vehicle mode? I imagine them driving along side each other in a pattern mimicking that of Devastator's body shape. They're still rolling while they combine. Even as Davastator gets up from a lying down position, he's still rolling on his legs and rear end so that it looks badass rather than lame and awkward.

2) Second, I want to be scared by the big guy. Each robot would easily be twenty, twenty-five feet tall. This equals at least a fifty foot tall transformer. I don't imagine he'd be very fast, nor that he'd be able to support himself immediately after merging. So, how about this: the Autobots along with some humans (because they look good together) are once again in a city setting. They hear a loud thundering noise, and the ground is shaking. All of the sudden, this huge, Godzill-sized robot looms in on them from between two skyscrapers, grabbing the edges of the buildings for support. Then it roars! It roars so loud it'd make you **** your pants!

3) How does Davastator interact with other robots? He's huge even by transformer standards, but I don't want to see him just squashing 'bots like insects over and over again. Considering his limited speed, his best strength would have to be his ability to take a lot of hits and not fall down. Or, to take a lot of hits, fall down, and then get back up every time. As far as weapons are concerned, do something with those unique construction tools. A shovel claw! Ooh, that sounds cool.

4) Get rid of hook. Six is too many, and a crane wouldn't look cool anyway.

Alright, now that that's out of the way, I'm sure other Seibertronians have some interesting ideas.

Weapon: Indepentently Targetable Particle Beam Cannons
What's Hook ever done wrong?

At the end of the day if you need to remove a gestalt member, and lord knows why you want to do that, Bonecrusher is dead.

8)
He's got some pretty far-out powers to go along with them, too, including teleportation, the projection of trippy telepathic visions and illusions, and the ability to groove on the language of 98% of all known species. To uses his powers to the fullest, though, he's gotta be feelin' good vibrations; bad karma can seriously harsh his mellow, y'know?

Motto: "If it feels so good, it can't be wrong."
Weapon: Whiplash Cutlass
1. Ultra Magnus. He should fight Prime. They should then combine ala RiD style to fight the real Devastator and Shockwave and Megatron.

2. Grimlock (Not a Dinosaur, a tank. Instead, his robot mode would be more reptilian than human in appearance. And not stupid G1 cartoon Season 3 Grimlock, UK and late run US comics Simon Furman evil but noble Grimlock.) Optimus Prime should be disappointed with his arrival. "Oh no, not Grimlock!" Maybe a few Dinobots should be there, all of them turning into things the Cons would normally turn into and have someone reptilian robot modes. But then that would negate another sports car ad tie in.

3. Battlechargers.

4. Shockwave. He should create the Constructicons, but Megatron comes back and they fight. They should even end up fighting in a football stadium like in the comics. That's too awesome for the movies though, because it acknowledges the Cons are more than killing machines.

What does he turn into in the game? Seems like they're halfway to putting him in already.

5. Real Devastator (doesn't need all six. Four would probably be better).

6. Starscream comes back with the other Seekers.
Buy my RiD toys! They're awesome, I promise!!!!

Devastator rolling along the highway on his ass is a funny image, hahaha. I think that it would be cool for the legs to transform, and then have the torso-bot climb up and transform, with an arm-bot doing the same, and then grabbing the last Constructicon to form the other arm. Either that, or they have like...electromagnets to get to the right position, and then they're parts intertwine or something. I do love the idea of him not being able to support his size very well, at least at first.
