I'll start off;

I bought an MP04 off of ebay and it was shipped USPS with tracking and insurance supposedly, and i was supposed to recieve the package last monday (7 days ago). According to the tracking info, the item has still not even left its city of origin. It looks like i'm not going to be getting Mp04


Have you had similair experiences with your tf's? What carriers are the best/worst? How about different tf toystores online, any stories about them?

worst: my first trade, for a armada galvatron. got the original easily enough, but the guy left off the weapons and the clear plastic wings were bent. so the guy feels bad, buys a brand new general galvatron from takara to replace this eff'd one. he sends it. two weeks go by, and the post office says someone must have taken my box from my townhouse complex. nevertheless, i raised hell and high water, and two days later, the goddamn thing shows up in my mailbox.

Bill's Toys and Games. Biggest con artist in the game. $137 order never showed up and never got refunded. I was patient too. I waited 2 and a half months. Fortunately I have a cousin down in New Orleans. I emailed him the receipt and he talked to the asshole in person and got my refund.

all of my shipping stories so far have been great because I received everything I ordered.

USPS sucks!

I dread buying stuff on eBay that is being shipped USPS.

The funny thing about insurance too, is the bastards will only give you back cost + shipping (they keep the handling charge, even though the handling is what destroyed it).

I have had very good luck with UPS and FedEx.

hasbrotoyshop.com and walmart.com bot suck, I get packages that are in great shape but the contents are smashed.

Except the smashed them down to fit in a box that was 1/3rd smaller than the package. There are pics floating around I'll see if I can dig them up.

OMG. I think i would have cried upon receiving MP-04 looking that..

But thankfully, MP04 arrived yesterday! i'll get some pics up later. and it's in good shape, not all smashed and stuff. So now, this has gone from worst shipping story to a much much better one For me, personally anyway.

I have heard about some people waiting months for items sometimes. :/ Or not getting them at all..

although its not a toy, it is TF related... week or so before the transformers games were coming out i preordered the following from gamestop.com"

TF XBOX 360 Game
Wii Transformers Wiimote Skins

if you didn't know, the ds games came out on 6/19. the wiimote skins were supposed to be the 19th too. and the 360 game was 6/25. I was also supposed to receieve a free movie poster for each of the actual games i was buying.

first off the wiimote skins get pushed back to the 26th. then on the 19th i check the status of my ds games and they say backordered... so panicing, i cancelled my order and run out and buy both games. what do i find on my doorstep the next day? 4 packages (one for each DS game and one for each poster)...all SOAKING WET... which wasnt bad for the games since they were sjrink wrapped but both posters were trashed and now i was stuck with 2 extra games... thankfully reurning those with the recipet i bought the 1st games with wasn't a problem.

next week comes and shockingly the xbox360 game and 3rd poster come undamaged and even a day early(the special edition shipped early) but the wiimote skins got pushed back to the 29th.
the 29th comes around... the wiimote skins are still listed in my order, but completely dissapeared from the website. and it was still listed as "pre-release 6/29" i didnt care much becasue they weren't that important to me. and i assumed the item was discontined and i just forgot about it. then i get an email this past frday 7/20 saying it shipped and would be delivered 7/23. ok fine... so i get home last night and i check the tracking number and it says delivered...but no one was home all day and i didn't see any signs saying UPS came by and i was worried becasue it rained here in NY all day. so i start searching around my front door, side door and back porch(where the ds games were found) and i dont find anything... i go back and check the tracking number again and it says delivered to "side door" and where do i find the package? on the side of my house about 15 feet from there door in a clear plastic bag (alongwith a box for my dad) NEXT TO MY GARBAGE AND RECYCLING CANS... and here in NY, you have to put out your paper recycling in clear plastic bags... so the stupid delivery guy placed my packages with my trash, no where near the door. sorry this was so long... i was really pissed off about this last night...lol

You know, I wouldn't actually be upset with the guy putting my packages in a plastic bag and leaving them with the trash.

I live in a pretty good area and I still refuse to ship things to my house. I always have things shipped to my parents house because they are both retired and are home all day.

The reason I don't ship anything to my house is even though I live in a good area, things still vanish.

The guy putting the packages with what looks like trash already could have prevented someone from stealing your packages.

thats an intresting way of thinking about it... i live in a really nice neighboorhood and ive never had problems with packages being stolen. so i guess that's why i wouldn't have thought about that way. also i forgot to mention the bag was just placed over the package and the bottom of the other box was still soaked from touching the ground.

Good story: I bought my unmodified MP-05 and MP-03 at the same time from RobotKingdom, came to like only $211 w/shipping. The box arrived in about 3 weeks, opened it up, and box Mp boxes were carefully taped with bubble wrap, and under that, they were plastic vacum sealed by the staff as well. Now THAT is caring for your customer! The boxes looked so exquisite all "preserved" for eternity in all of that neatly taped plastic that I was kind oif sad to open them, but I will buy from them again! IF their website ever comes back online, that is...RobotKingdom RULES!

Bad story: Currently ongoing...I bought a G1 COMPLETE Scorponok with box, insert, booklet, etc. for $322 w/shipping. The guy lives in the UK, so I e-mailed him asking for a tracking number, he never gets back with me. Then, just two days ago, after three e-mails, he claims to have sent me an e-amil to me, which of course, is a load of it. It has been 3 weeks, and no tracking number, and no more contact.

What an asshole this guy is. I will never buy from him again.

I once ordered some energon toys from an ebay seller, they arrived with no issue, but the contents had a mild perfume smell to them.
I purchase bots from ebay all the time, but after looking at the paypal slip, I noticed this was the first time I had purchased from a female seller. I had to laugh, Energon Dreadwing smelling like bed of roses.

Well I ordered the Anime recolour of Galvatron off Transformers New Zealand, right, from one of our order forums. I went to the bank, deposited the money (This is before I started using computer transfers.) into the dudes account who was ordering them in for us. I messaged him, and a week later, I got a PM back, stating that the money hadn't gone through. I was like 'WTF?" and checked the deposit receipt. I must've known something, because usually, I just bin the deposit receipts. Turns out somehow, the account number got screwed up. (I would've loved to have known how, because the teller hadn't gotten a single number right.)

I went down to the bank, and asked what had happened. They said they'd try to fix it up, but it could take 3 or 4 days. So I walked around the the bus stop outside the mall and waited when my cellphone went off. It was the bank. They'd fixed it up, and it turned out the teller who'd screwed it up had been doing it quite a bit.

So thankfully, the money went to the right person, and I got my Galvatron. It was worth it, too, since it's a cool figure.

Direct shipping from ehobby on some of those TF exclusives. Ended up paying $400 in customs fees. Never again!
