By the way, I have no idea what a "Lady Gaga" is or what it does, I just saw the picture in a newspaper. I assume she's a singer or entertainer of some kind. Don't enlighten me - I'm sure I'm happier not knowing.

It was a joke, a humorous barb. It's not for me to say whether it was in poor taste - but I can't help feel you're calling him out on it just to start (and win) an argument.

Let the guy think and say what he likes, within decent reason. We're not the thought police. Maybe he really dislikes strippers - many people do. I've never seen or paid a stripper. If someone I knew took it up as a profession, I'd be disappointed - it is degrading, and encourages the objectification of people (especially women, I feel) as sex tools - unfeeling objects that exist to give sexual gratification.

As for the hermaphrodite bit, that may offend our hermaphrodite and/or stripper readers - but let them stand up for themselves.

Perhaps he is unaware of the complex nature of the disorder. Indeed, the popular idea of a hermaphrodite (a person with both sets of [developed and functional] reproductive organs) does not occur in humans. I am certain that he is not prejudiced against such people or actively hates or ridicules them.

Just let it slide, man. People say things. Sometimes those things are in poor taste, sometimes said by accident. No point turning a joke into an argument.

Hermaphrodites can't do anything for the way they are and they suffer enough as is.
I also disprove of hatred against strippers, it's bad enough that they have to do that for a living, it's horrible and disgusting to treat them badly for it.

Yes it was a joke, after all Blitzwing is far from noble, and I would have been OK with it weren't it for the inclusion of stripper and hermaphrodite as if those where facts about her.
Both are untrue and have only been included to "devalue" her.

Also, since when is pointing out falsehoods considered "starting an argument to win it"?

No, sorry that's not how we do things here. Jokes are fine and dandy, but we don't tolerate hate-speech against minorities.

I also never stated that it was indeed the case, hence my question, although I know full well that the only sources where you find Lady Gaga associated with those two terms are propaganda sites and publications run by close minded hate-mongers.

Had I villainised him from the start I wouldn't have asked a question, but given him a warning instead.
