Following the events in DW..

Starscream learns Shockwave was responsible for creating his electrum laced clone Sunstorm. Outraged at his attempt to improver on seeker perfection, the aerospace commander rallies the cone squad and his two wing mechs to take down super smart space gun.

Can Shockwave win this one or does Starscream get a promotion?

Shockwave is powerful but he can't take down six warriors alone. He's dead.

Shockwave wins this one easily.

I understand there were extenuating circumstances behind the newly minted Dinobots loosing that fight, but then DW Shocker also pwnd Prime and Primelite...

In each situation the aggressor came in without a strategy. I'ld like to think If Starscream initiates this fight he'ld atleast appear to have the advantage. To this end two of three cases must be vissible.

1. Fight proceeds in an open area to take advantage of seeker altmode and quick strike tactics. - this is similar to the dinobot scenario, but the seekers aren't slow and using melee.

2. Shockwave is not at 100%. this option is unacceptable for the vs scenario although it is the method Shockers used on the siamese semi and even against Megatron.

3. Shockwave is surprised. As illogical as Starscream's tactics can be, he does get results. Against a foe that relies on understanding, like with the Dinobots, this could prove a momentary set back.

I'm thinking the numbers and maneuverability should give the seekers just enough to make it too close for me to call.

The only chance the Seekers have is an ambush and even then victory isn't guaranteed...

Shockwave has a 98% chance of victory....

Shockwave's a very tough customer. It sounds like he has this battle in the bag.

I know that Shockwave's a badass, but my money's still on the seekers. Starscream didn't get to his high rank in the rather barbaric Decepticon heirarchy by accident, plus the seekers are the big elite, right? the Decepticons' flying aces? I'm sure shockwave would put up a nice fight, but the Seekers would knock his one optic out of his logical head.

Can Shockwave honestly stand up to 6 Seekers?

With what Lord Screamer has said, I thinking no. All the Seekers have powerful special abilities, so they're no pushovers.

I dunno if Shocks can win this one hands down. Either way, it would be a close one.

Shockie's strong, but not to that extent.

I see it like this, Shockwave has all the advantages:

Firepower: He's got superior firepower to all 6 seekers when he's gun mode. So far he's managed to defeat; 2 Omega sentinels in one shot and a entire group of Autobots. The seekers couldn't pull that off.

Strength: Shockwave has gone toe to toe with both Optimus Prime and Megatron. A feat the seekers haven't managed to pull of. And then there's the Dinobots... Anyway he's stronger then all six seekers combined.

Armor: Extremely powerfull as displayed by the enemies he's managed to fight. Even more so, he's managed to survive a fall from low orbit. I don't see any of the seekers pull anything like that off.

Speed: Make no mistake, this guy is fast. His gunmode has allowed him to keep up with any seekers during his reign on Earth as Decepticon leader. His reflexes have also proven to be quite excellent. The seekers can only match him in the speed department.

Intelligence: Okay, Shockwave is possibly one of the greatest minds of the entire race of transformers. He's both a established scientist and tactician. It is also of note that Shockwave's latest incarnation is not bound logic anymore, he's gained the ability to turn of his logical components of his mind. The only one who might possibly compete with him is IDW Ramjet. Starscream is cunning, but not cunning enough to compete with Shockers.

Special powers: Often overlooked in Shockwave's case. Shockwave's powers are both energy and radiation based. He can adapt his gunmode to fire from a wide spectrum of ray based attacks. His radation "powers" allow him to use nuclear based fuel in adition to his energon supplies. As such he's able to endure for quite a while.

That's pretty much it right there. Optimus and Megatron could beat all six seekers and the dinobots could as well. Shockwave is on a whole other level than the seekers.

Shockwave.............Thats just it...........it would take time.........But Shockwave woud annilae one by one, till he gets to Stascream. H would have little problem with Skywarp, causedue to his war abbilities, but aftr that the seekers are scapped.

I have a hard time believing that Shockwave could take all 6 Seekers. Even if he is stronger than them individually, there are 6 of them. They can easily flank him. His armour may hold out for a while, but superior numbers and speed would likely overshadow Shockwaves attributes. The seekers wouldn't be dumb enough to charge him head-on at the same time like those dinobots. Their superior tactics would win out in the end.

I'm thinking Ramjet is the key to the Seeker's victory.

A clever diversionary tactic should be enough for Ramjet to mount his assault.

And I don't think Shockwave would be able to survive a head on crash courtesy of the Conehead Seeker.

It wouldn't be easy, but I give this to ShockWave with SkyWarp and Dirge giving him the most trouble

Shockwave FTW

Thundercracker and Thrust use their sonic booms to stun Shockwave temporarily. Dirge uses his special sounds to try to scare Shockwave. It works on some level and Shockwave freezes for a few moments. Ramjet smashes into Shockwave, knocking him violently sideways. Skywarp teleports in with Starscream, who hits Shockwave with null rays. Shockwave is paralysed and falls down. All Seekers blast Shockwave with conventional weapons. Shockwave's head is destroyed. His fusion reactor shuts down due to damage. His energon stores explode.

Seekers win.
