That might be one reason.

Mr.Bond007 wrote:Ok now I need some advice. So this past summer my sister gave me her old 2nd gen nano. It's white and I hate the color but I'm grateful to have it. Anyhoo my friends dad works for apple so my he said he could getme a 8g touch for $170. I think that's a good deal. And I'm paying for it with my hard earned money from working and my mom said I can't buy it. It's my damn money!I know I got an ipod and I like it it's just it's kinda old and ugly lookin and can't hold battery life. I know I may sound rude but the thing dosen't even work that well. I'de keep the nano as a backup I just think that I should be able to buy what I like if it's within my spending limits. I can make 170 in a weekend of working. It's my hard earned money, I put half in the bank, and some in a xmas fund for gifts. I think the rest can be pocket money so why can't I spend it?

As long as you don't have to type in a network access code, you're internet is free.Mr.Bond007 wrote:Ok now I need some advice. So this past summer my sister gave me her old 2nd gen nano. When I got my Touch, I sold my 2nd gen 8gb nano to my friend. He recently got a Touch. He keeps the nano for school and uses the Touch for everything else as he does'nt want it to get stolen. Only reason I sold it to him was because I needed the money.
I do the same thing you do with my money. My parents never cared what I bought as long as I always put half of what I earned in the bank. I'm 18 now and I have to be a little tighter with my money because of school, but I don't see why you can't buy a Touch unless she's planning on getting it for you as a Christmas present.
