Hmmm... I wonder if this is really why all the pre-orders were canceled for this set....

Okay, so those who previously preordered got an e-mail in early July stating that all orders were cancelled due to some type of problem and it would take 6 - 8 weeks before announcing a new pre-order. Now, about 3 weeks after this announcement, they're going to have a limited edition at SDCC? And at a cheaper price?!?!?! Retail was $100, but they gave a 10% discount to the preorders.

Any chance the new preorders are going to pay the cheaper rate?

$80 eh. I hope this means the MSRP has dropped. $80 is pretty decent, $100 was a little pricy.

Apparently the exclusive listing on the SDCC page was incorrect. It's been removed and they've tweeted that the set will not be available at the con.
