I was watching the first three episodes of G1,and I noticed some things I hadn't picked up on before.

1. Fight at a dam. In the movie, they fight at Hoover dam. In MTMTE, it's a made up dam.

2. Decepticons raid a military outpost.

3. A human carries around a Decepticon, who infiltrates the enemy. In the movie, Frezy disguises himself as Mikaela's cell phone, and breaks into Sector 7 HQ, in MTMTE, Soundwave shrinks to normal tape-deck size, and infiltrates the Ark.

4. A casettecon raids an enemy computer. In the movie, it's Frenzy, (Who sort of counts, and raids a computer on Air Force One) but in MTMTE, it's Ravage. (Who raids the Ark's computer)

5. Decepticons dumped in the ocean at the end.

There's probably more, but these are just a few from MTMTE.

You can add Prime and Megs having melee weapons to the list too.

And the Robots transform. Thats one that I don't think you caught.

That's another thing I noticed: prime had a big glowy orange melee weapon that comes out of his arm, and Megatron has a mace.

Now that you mention it, it does seem pretty similar. Add the fact that many of the characters are based on G1 and you might even say that they used MTMTE to base the script on.

If they continue with this pattern, then the Decepticons will have an ocean base in the next one. And Megatron and Jazz will probably come back to life.

Its logical that they are slightly similar.

Part Spoilerwe know jazz dies and barricade runs off in the movie, but if you look at the bio for g1 movie jazz it says that when they repair him he wanted a better paint job because the silver didnt suit him, so he chose the g1 style paint. Also baricade goes awol so maybe he paints himself like another cop car to remain incogneto for a little while until help comes.Highlight to see my theory[/quote]
