Well it seems like Henkei Rodimus is going to see a reissue soon in Sept. That's gotta be a blow to KOToys. Probably will focus their energy on black repaints to avoid competition.

Got a huge favour to ask once again, and if it's anybody who I have absolute faith in to fufill my wildest desires & fantasies when it comes to finding an UBER rare piece of UBER Grail item, it is the awesome wankery peoples on these boards!

Don't know if I am asking the impossible here--to scour the deepest recessess of the Tokyo and Japanese collectors' market for the above?! I'll be willing to pay up to a premium of approx. $10,000 for it. If that's a fair price, you have my utter commitment and guarantee that once I start payment at say--oh- $400/month, I will always commit & be a full-time slave to complete the deal. The reason to get that uber piece of historic piece is borne by my lustful desire to complete ALL the Super Fire Convoy molds. I only have the original Car Robots version, and since the Blackass one is the hardest to obtain, I guess getting it would be a personal & moral victory for me as a UBER collector extraordinaire.

In a nutshell, Henkei Henkei is the japanese equivalent of Hasbro's Classics/Universe 2.0 toyline that mostly concentrates on updated versions of G1 characters.

Er Hw to know if the item is henkei?

Google transformers henkei and you should find pictures of the packaging.
If figures are loose, takaratomy toys tend to have chromed parts, whereas chrome is very rare for hasbro TFs.
