As for the history of the Predaking toy, you got it all mixed up man. I dun wanna go any further into this topic, as it may make our alrdy confused Dragongun even more confused as he's confused by all this confusion.

Nothing wrong with what you did but some of the questions you've asked have either been addressed before and sparked massive debates (Scale of toys like Devastator vs Predaking) or on point of (why Predaking look like Encore but not considered Encore)

Yes... but that's quite alot of times for a combiner to be reissued. ANd yes... the price would keep increaseing as the raity increases, not price decrease. Quoting from TF WIKI "It's your own fault if you ignored this when it was reissued, you know." If you want it, get it now

Actually, imo there has to be a balance, there are perks to both waiting/buying on the spot, takes time to get a good guage.

Buy nonstop and you will end up selling/running out of space/money, wait longer and you might get a better deal, or the toy's price might skyrocket.

Though personally, I'm on the side of caution, lucky to have only 3-4 TFs that i'm super meh about from the 'starting collector's rush to get everything'.

I always google on the internet to at least try to get the information I want.
And it always good to arm yourself with some knowledge first before anything else.

when i was a beginner like u all, i start buying tfs tt are readily available and within my budget range...start small first..at least u get to buy something and get a hang of it...u can ask the bros here I started collect movie tfs as a beginner and tt time tftm and rotf toys aren't tt nice but i still buy so can at least play wif somth u see...

so when u're expert and did some research,once u're armed with better knowledge and found some better 'lobangs' can start to get non-readily available toys e.g 3rd party and preorder stuffs, then u slowly prepare and set aside some cash to pay those preorder/3rd party stuffs...

so at least those toys when bought during ur beginner stage, u dun like can still sell, eventho cannot sell much like henkei/generation toys but at least u hv spare cash to top up to get better toys in e future...

start small lah, now cannot get nvm, hopefully there will be a reissue,then can prepare to strike and buy alr lah!!! haha

Actually, it ws much easier to collect for me back then.... when 1st movie came out, i was only 9 so during my birthday, every relative asked me what i wanted... and that how i collected the whole autobot/decepticon cast from 07 movie

Now you dont get people buying toys for you anymore...
