RAcast wrote:I was browsing ebay a few minutes ago and an auction was just about to end. At a glance I had thought it was Generations Sky Shadow/Black Shadow and clicked it for kicks to see how it'd end. Then I saw the price, and that it was Victory Black Shadow. It ended shortly after at $1200!
So, why is Victory Black Shadow so apparnetly rare? The only time I hear prices like those thrown around is with your typical grails, your G1 Fort Max (prior to the recent reissue), Victory Leo, etc.

It's Japan-only, 'nuff said.
I can't be certain but because they didn't really have a large presence in the Victory anime the toys, as a result, didn't sell and less were produced. Try looking for Blue Bacchus, his helicopter buddy.

Gotcha, makes sense. It's a bit of the "nobody wanted him at the time but now nobody can find him" syndrome.
