This isn't really a question for those guys, so I decided to just make my own thread. How 'bout that. But, if I'm wrong, if a mod could move this to the appropriate place they'll get an extra beer or two from me in heaven. Assuming you go there. Hell, assuming I go there >_>
Really, I noticed there isn't any place so far for us, the viewers, to talk about our feelings on the show, especially given the recent changes it's been through. So I guess I'll start things off...
Personally, I've been a dedicated listener since the very first episode. I really appreciate that it's all set up for me to download with a click, throw on my iPod and listen to in the car on my various travels (trust me, it makes traffic jams SO much more tolerable!). I have to say, the show is honestly getting better and better with every episode. Since every show's unique, it's hard to talk specifics but there are a couple things I'll point out in particular...
Casting: Since the show's cast has solidified it's made for a much more coherent product. You guys did really well in picking who comes on the show, because the standard cast is wonderful at keeping things lighthearted and interesting. Plus, the occasional special guest always serves to spice things up. I think having Ryan (Seibertron) as a regular guest is an especially good idea, both for his unique perspective on collecting and so we always have the site's opinion from the source himself.
Either way, I've yet to hear an episode that made me think "Man, that guy is boring" or "Jesus, won't he ever shut up?" (Though seriously CP, you're a fantastic host and all but you really need to learn how to pronounce "continuity"

) So, bravo to all you guys for making the time to make this work. Speaking of time...
Time: I can't remember how many episodes ago it was, but at some point the show's length extended from about an hour to just under two. THIS is something I'd really like to hear people's opinion about, since I've heard through the grapevine mixed reviews on it. Personally, I think the just-under-two-hours mark is absolutely perfect for the show. When it was half that, I would find myself nearly every episode glancing at the timer, seeing there was only ten minutes left and saying to myself "Seriously? I just started really getting into this discussion..."
With two hours, I think it's the perfect amount of time to cover three to four topics fully - complete with witty banter and the occasional tangent or three - and by the time I start noticing that it's been a while, it's almost over (usually about the 15 or 10 minutes left mark). Any longer I think would put too much a strain on both our ears the cast trying to entertain us; any shorter, like it was, and I really think there wouldn't be adequate time to cover as much as they usually do. And I don't know about you, but if I'm only getting one episode a month (or three weeks, or however long it is) I really don't want to hear about just one or two things.
My general opinion about the Twincast can be summed up with this: it's something I look forward to every time I log into the site. And while this might sound pathetic or retarded, every time I listen it really feels like I'm hanging out with a bunch of my friends and just shootin' the ****. Now, I might also be biased because every BotCon (well, except for the last one...) I actually DO hang out with these people and it's basically the same kind of conversation, just with booze added, but even so I think that really says something about the show that it can promote feelings of camaraderie through a pair of speakers. I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way, but if I am, then screw it. I spend probably thousands of dollars a year on children's toys, I don't care what you think D:
Anyway, what do you all think?
