tfw2005 is posting that Nikkei Net and Kyodo News are reporting new developments for Transformers Animated in Japan.

Transformers Animated will air on TV-Tokyo starting April 3rd at 8:30am.

A bit disturbing is that Takara only sees the show as being in the 3-8 age range, but they will have a full DVD/BR release this year. Hopefully this means we may get our wide screen version as well


The same report also notes that SEGA is working on a new animated based arcade game using the card systems this summer. That could be quite interesting is see develop.
