i think you're spot on with the way i feel new sir. i did enjoy the movie, but i did have some "issues", not that i don't with every movie.
i thought the movie somewhat abruptly ended. it was like kick ass battle, blah blah, end.
also, could have used some more character intro's on the decepticons.. however, i guess if you read the prequel book you get their personalities.
jazz was very annoying and made the autobots look kinda jokey at times.
a lul of about 20 minutes in the middle
if it was suppposed to be a serious movie, why was the sector 7 guy way too over the top and highly unbelievable, and the computer hacker duo was just ridiculous, besides the fact they seemed very "thrown in there"
protoforms seemed way too humanoid, and not enough robotic.. the prequel toys show better protoforms
great action, okay story, too many human dialoge scenes, and some very forced lines
all in all, i thought the movie was going to be a c, but i have to give it a b+/b for effect, it would be higher if just a bit more effort was involved, and getting brawls name right for christsakes!!! and i think that if the producer and director would have gotten along better, we might have had a superb movie. bay does direct some of the best action sequences ever. and it did work for this movie. however, bumblebee "peeing" on someone, does not. the most unattractive scene of the movie.
