My local Walmart finally started to slowly populate the big collector display, but the only Transformers on it are two boxes of the Commander Constructicons. They did have a ton of Sideways in the Transformers section, but no Excelions, guess they're in solid cases.

They wouldn't be any bigger, so they'd just be a couple of "tall Voyager"-sized figures taking up so little space in mostly empty Commander class boxes.Nemesis Destron wrote:You know it just fry's me how Megatron and Galvatron who were done so wrong should have been Commander Class figures just like OP and UM!![]()

Hmm, you know, Megatron coming with his stock and silencer to combine with his Fusion Cannon to create the big cannon weapon of his G1 toy (even if he himself still couldn't actually turn into a gun) would be a cool accessory to fill out a Commander version.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:They wouldn't be any bigger, so they'd just be a couple of "tall Voyager"-sized figures taking up so little space in mostly empty Commander class boxes.Nemesis Destron wrote:You know it just fry's me how Megatron and Galvatron who were done so wrong should have been Commander Class figures just like OP and UM!![]()
Do not forget that a "Commander" Galvatron and Megatron would have had to include a ton of fluff and useless just to compensate the Commander price. It would have been worse than the crash-out Rodimus Prime's trailer had caused.

That's why I said what I said in the parentheses.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Hmm, you know, Megatron coming with his stock and silencer to combine with his Fusion Cannon to create the big cannon weapon of his G1 toy (even if he himself still couldn't actually turn into a gun) would be a cool accessory to fill out a Commander version.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:They wouldn't be any bigger, so they'd just be a couple of "tall Voyager"-sized figures taking up so little space in mostly empty Commander class boxes.Nemesis Destron wrote:You know it just fry's me how Megatron and Galvatron who were done so wrong should have been Commander Class figures just like OP and UM!![]()

Bonus points if the Tank was allowed to turn into a "submarine" à la Shockwave's wink-wink, nudge-nudge.

And I said in the parentheses that they couldn't do that.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:That's why I said what I said in the parentheses.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Hmm, you know, Megatron coming with his stock and silencer to combine with his Fusion Cannon to create the big cannon weapon of his G1 toy (even if he himself still couldn't actually turn into a gun) would be a cool accessory to fill out a Commander version.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:They wouldn't be any bigger, so they'd just be a couple of "tall Voyager"-sized figures taking up so little space in mostly empty Commander class boxes.Nemesis Destron wrote:You know it just fry's me how Megatron and Galvatron who were done so wrong should have been Commander Class figures just like OP and UM!![]()

What I mean is Shockwave's "submarine mode" is his G1 gun mode with 99% accuracy. They could have done the same with Megatron. Maybe add a safely orange cap that get revealed only for this mode, just to be sure.
