Amazon really has come through for me, although I don't buy as much as others and I know people have had some legitimately frustrating issues with them.

Are you going to get Sweeps or Gnaw?

No plans to get sweeps since I own a generations Scourge and might get 1-2 more as my sweeps. Though I wish I'd have waited before getting ss86 Scourge because I prefer the hand placement on sweep, if only because their gun has the more hollow side and its not as flattering on Scourge

Gnaw I'm on the fence, but I'll most likely get to go with my alicon to have at least one of each for funsies. Plus gnaw has a flail and such an awesome alt mode it's hard to say no. Well done robot mode as well

I have 1 Gnaw on preorder, and I'd like to end up with 3 so I'll have to hunt a couple down in stores.

I don't have some huge collection, but I like what I have and am nearing the end of collecting in general...
Once I have all 5 G1 leader class Dinobots (well, I know Swoop could be a voyager), I'm probably going to bow-out.
There may still be a few that I keep an eye out for, but I'll never have another period of collecting as I have like this past year and a half.

I wanna say I'm mostly done with the main lineup of characters I want and I'm just missing random characters like Devcon, Alpha Trion would be nice, maybe a couple others. Though if we get more beast wars- especially if we get the characters from the comics like razorbeast, Wolfgang, magmatron, etc- I'll be back with a vengeance

Yeah, the Dinobots are probably my favorite G1 characters... I really like Sideswipe, but not quite as much. Having those 5 together (whenever that happens) will most likely be the highlight of my collection outside of my MP's. I'll also definitely preorder the rest of those when it's time. Hopefully sooner than later!!

G1 Insecticons, Blitzwing, and Astrotrain are the others I'm really wanting and willing to wait for.

Same here, Soundwave and Grimlock are most definitely my top 2 but just like Soundwave needs his cassette army, Grimlock needs his Dinobots. I'm pretty anxious for the rest, it'll be a highlight for me as well. And thats why I'm hoping for a good new Devastator/Predaking/Bruticus in the future to be worthy adversaries for them. I want all 3 of those though, they're pretty cool

Because I'm not getting any quontessons, as cool and important as they are they'd just kinda be chillin there. Can't really make them fight anyone except maybe smaller bots

I'm conflicted with insecticons because I own the fansproject stormbomb as my bombshell and he's not accurate but he's cool. So I'd probably get the other 2 for my insecticons but they're like $60 still so I'll be waiting on that haha

Scored '86 Wreck-gar and Kingdom Rhinox at Washington MO walmart before close last night. There were also two Thrusts.

Rhinox was clearanced priced b/c of opened and destroyed box. Wreck-gar's box was so mangled his gun nipples were loose inside, but nothing was broken.

Exactly... I bought Classics Grimlock from ebay sometime around 2007-2008, and it was definitely a letdown that he was all we got from those 5.
Then, with PotP, the lack of scale was so disappointing to me that I never bought any of them, and even resisted buying Snarl (my favorite Dinobot) later from Amazon. Which wasn't that tough since as we've mentioned, it was marked-up big time.

I'll be interested to see if a new Menasor happens. I really dig that guy and even though I have both the Hasbro and UW versions (and a couple upgrade kits), if a new version looks good enough, I'd probably stay in the game for a bit longer.

I wasn't against having a Quintesson, just never saw them in store (along with a lot of other ER, like the Allicon), and like you, didn't feel much of a "need". If I had an Allicon, I'd probably be alright with just 1 Sharkticon, but it'll be fun to have a few.

I have 2 of those Fansprojects Insecticons, and regret not getting Kickback... But before I drop any money for him on the aftermarket, I'm going to wait for Hastak and see if they can deliver.
I really didn't like the look of Siege Astrotrain... That was a pretty easy pass for me.
Fingers crossed that Blitzy happens very soon, and is done really well. Excited about that guy!
Again, even though he's had a couple upgrades, I haven't liked them enough to bite.
Astrotrain is one that I'll keep an eye out for even once I'm "done collecting". I'm predicting he's 1 of the only TF I buy in 2023-24.

A couple drumkits I'm considering start around $1,300... Pretty crazy to think I've dropped close to 2K in the last year and a half on TOYS. Which I get, is 1,000% a choice; I've done a pretty good job of only buying figures I really like the look of, so yeah, the enjoyment factor is there. But as space is running low, and these prices keep going up, it's just about time to move on. At almost 45, my days of playing soccer competitively are over, so I've even considered getting a new longboard as an easier-on-the-joints-but-still-active option, although I already have a couple good ones. In other words, I have plenty of "want" type of purchases, and none are super cheap.

I'm sure someone would say the next Dinobot depends on the schedule of classes and how that all fits into the next line(s). I guess then it also depends on how they package Swoop; even if they scrap the pack-in figure, I could see him being leader class. Hopefully he's a really big voyager, with big wings, and maybe even a few blast effects.
Although it would seem a little weird if they're not all under the SS86 banner, maybe if at least 1 of them is part of the new, regular line, they'll get released sooner.
At $50-$52 each (and limited repaint options), I wonder how strategic Hastak will be; will they leave what they feel is the most popular of the remaining 3 to be released last?
My guess is Sludge, Snarl, then Swoop. But if SS96 is going to end sooner than later, I'd say Swoop, Snarl, then Sludge.
Do they consider Snarl to be included in the movie enough to put him in SS86? He had such a brief cameo and obvsly was left out of that big scene with Devastator.
Maybe he'll get released with the non-SS86 line, and then will be relieved of needing a pack-in figure!

I need to double check, but I think Voyager Class Swoop was next in line (I want to say ss86) with the other two being in the "legacy" line this way they should be out sooner, but this could have easily changed as things often do (like Kingdom Blaster now being in Wave 4 instead of the bonus wave 5)

This does make a lot of sense, although I get it's all still rumor... But after Grimlock and Slag, Swoop actually spoke and even transformed at least once more than the others in the film.

I don't know if I hope for or dread exploding Ironhide and Ratchet.

I'd say Swoop, a Junkion, Perceptor, Blitzwing, and hopefully the Insecticons for more deluxe scale (and Decepticon) options.
I also wouldn't put it past Hastak to throw us slightly re-tooled versions of Astrotrain, Bee, or really anyone who had even a small cameo like Sunstreaker and Hound.
This would also be a chance for another Soundwave. With some slight re-tooling, 2-3 tapes, a Megatron in gun mode, and a blast effect... There's another $52 leader class option.
And in fact, as I think about it, any of this is a good possibility;
producing so many of these molds that are next to impossible to re-tool or re-paint (such as the Dinobots), and just re-packing a couple figures, or only having Sweeps, a Junkion, and Coronation SS as the only repaints probably isn't going to be enough for Hastak. I know there's also SG Blurr, but I'm not sure how much that helps SS86 specifically.
I don't see a damaged Ironhide or Ratchet happening in SS86; something that scene-specific is really limiting. And not just because the paint apps most likely won't transfer well in alt mode.
Now, doing this in the R.E.D. line in the same spirit as "Reformatting Megatron"? Possibly. Especially with the option of multiple re-paints.

-Blaster has a Kingdom listing & allegedly comes with Eject, no word on other cassettes yet
-All 3 Dinobots are rumored, Swoop is allegedly the next one, but some of them might be shuffled into Legacy/regular Generations
-Rumble came out in Siege? Unless you're asking for them to rerelease him and Ratbat, since he was pretty hard to come across
-We have a listing for 1 Junkion, no idea if more are coming
-Hasbro apparently considers the reissue of CW/UW Devastator (I don't remember which one it was) good enough
-All 3 Insecticons are heavily rumored for SS86
-Kranix came with the Quintesson Pit set, unless you're specifically looking for a transforming one
-Blitzwing is rumored, dunno which line yet

-We have a listing for 1 Junkion, no idea if more are coming
-Hasbro apparently considers the reissue of CW/UW Devastator (I don't remember which one it was) good enough
-All 3 Insecticons are heavily rumored for SS86
-Kranix came with the Quintesson Pit set, unless you're specifically looking for a transforming one
-Blitzwing is rumored, dunno which line yet

Does the rumor state if its a re-release of TR Blitzwing, or an entirely new mold?

I'd be all down for a rerelease of TR, but if its a new mold, color me very interested as well. Though that would mean I'd have to bite the bullet and pay the insane prices TR is going for now plus shipping.

I forgot Perceptor had been confirmed and isn't just a strong rumor.
Totally makes sense for the Insecticons to be in SS86.
As a triple changer do you think Blitzwing will be leader class?

In the Animated Series & TF:TM Rumble is the Blue one, although that does make for a bit of an interesting situation. They could re-release the Red Siege cassette as Frenzy, not sure how they would do Rumble... (since allegedly the cassette pairs were gang molded)

Frenzy was released in the four-pack.

It's a new mold. Hopefully it'll end up better than the last two attempts, I never really liked TR Blitzwing (something about the treads and arms) and T30 was kinda massively hated.

The non Transforming figurines is a tough situaiton. for Humans (Daniel/Spike) and even the Prosecutor (which I think was bigger than a human but I'll let it slide), that is fine. But for Wheelie, he was clearly larger than a human, basically the same size as Bumblebee.

For Kranix, I'm pretty sure he was around the same size as Kup & Hotrod, so a Tall deluxe would be better suited. It dosen't have to transform (The Baliff didn't in TF:TM), but the PoJ still came with one. Also there is concept art of Alt Modes for the Lithones, also they were shown in the Marvel Comic adaptation of TF:TM, and Marvel Transformers Universe Bio's.

Still, if they made RED series Kranix, Arblus, and even some of the other Lithone's, specifically designed to be cross-branded with SS86, I guess that could work.

T30 had its issues, but I still like it it wasn't as terrible as people make it out to be. . Along with Wheeljack, its one of the characters I gravitate to the most, so I tend to pick up any figures of him they make.

However, I was never able to find TR Blitzy, always the Megs repaint. I really want a TR version to complete the set. But a new mold would also be nice.

I heard a LOT of people actually liked T30 Blitzwing simply because it had the TFA "Man-E-Faces" gimmick. As for TR...that is odd, they sat around so long, Walmart had Blitzwing & Astrotrain on clearance in my area.

Not around here. There was only ever Megatron.

Blitzwing was plentiful though. Sentinel Prime also took a while to clear off the shelves.
