Thought those were Predaking, Darksteel, and Sky Lynx
Prime Season 3 and Predacons Rising never aired in Japan, so it wouldn't be them. This video only features things from shows and movies that actually released in Japan.

Great work on the identifications, Sabrblade!

I was assuming the white jet should be Slingshot but the shape isn't really right... watch it turn out to be some random Microns or sth.

The Crazy Ass... twitter account has also uploaded an identification video, not quite as comprehensive but good for also showing canon appearances for the things being referenced:

That was just an tribute to the history of the franchise. Yeah, there are parts that you and I might not know or care about but they mean as much to someone else as Beast Wars and G1 do to me, and this is a perfect reminder of that.

And yeah, I'd love more done in this artstyle.

And finally, that shot of G1 Optimus and Beast Wars Optimus merging then G1 and Beast Wars Megatron *chef's kiss*

Something that would be fun and kinda a dream project, have a miniseries where the different continuties all come together for a great battle, kinda like the Turtles forever animated movie. But bigger.

It's happened lots of times before in comics and prose stories.

Okay, that final pic was from a canceled series, but still.

As for TF animation, the Cyberverse cartoon was the first time a main TF cartoon actually really tried to dabble in multiversal fun, with the Megatron X and Tarn story.

And according to this Q&A with Cyberverse writer Mae Catt, she "would’ve liked to have the other Transformers series show up (TFP, TFA, G1, Shattered Glass)", but they didn't "have those assets or budget."

This was a beautiful tribute to 40 years of Transformers history. Akira Amemiya is a super fan, which has been evident ever since the "Transhomers" episode of Panty & Stocking (and there was also the little nods way back in Gurren Lagann). After years of slipping in references, parodies, and of course his work with Flame Toys, I'm glad he and the wonderful folks at Trigger finally got to produce an actual honest to god Transformers project. It's so, so jam packed with references, things I recognized and things I didn't, amazing attention to detail and hype moments and tragic moments and everything in between. I hope that this goes the same direction as "Gridman: Boys Invent Great Hero" in that it ultimately leads to the studio getting commissioned for a full series.

As someone who grew up on the Unicorn Trilogy, its so cool to see its characters take such a spotlight in this.

This has me hopeful that we could still see a Legacy series (or something akin to it) in the future. This may be wishful thinking, but maybe the reception to this will inspire Hasbro to let Studio Trigger make a full series.

Naturally. This video has a big Japanese focus to it and those three series were the last major Transformers shows to have been Japanese productions (any other Japanese productions since then have only been minor or mini-series).

#1 Signal Lancer fan wrote:This has me hopeful that we could still see a Legacy series (or something akin to it) in the future.
Netflix was previously approached by the same crew who made the War For Cybertron Trilogy cartoon to also make a Legacy cartoon, but Netflix said no (likely due to the lackluster reception to the WFCT).

Alas, Studio Trigger is too expensive for Hasbro's pockets.
