I just noticed, this thing is so lazy, it doesn't even have hands or fists, just train cockpits with a hole on the side. Wow
This is like someone had a neat concept for a combining train mecha, drew a up a ruff concept and then after that lost interest. I'm sure with some work and effort put into it, it could be pretty badass.

But yes, this Optimus Prime is still crappy.

My points of critique

Magnaboss: The Elephant dude Ironhide is most of the big bot. The lion is just the head and the bird doesn't need to be there at all.
Tripredacus is pretty decent but kinda flimsey. Same goes for Magmatron wit the head dude.

Railracer: A lot of people use him as an example of a good 3-dude combiner. I disagree. The middle guy is only the abs. and the lower guy is in his own robot mode just 2 giant legs.

Energon, well, practically all of 'm.

Don't (or do) get me wrong. I love the Armada Prime & Overload combo. But I don't see these dudes as combiners. Same goes for Duocons. As long as a bot has a good spot in the combined form.
And a lot of the times in a 3 or 4 combiner set one robot was just put on there because he has to be in it somehow.

On topic:

I liked the Bullet Train Prime first, but the likes are fading away + the price is going to break the deal completely.

And I for one like Armada Sideswipe. Still need to remove those horrible spring loaded fists -_-

I'm amazed at noctorro's listed images. But not because I wasn't aware, but, because of the fact that, at one time, I owned 80% of these toys. Since then, I've sold many, [too many], or gave them to kids, & afterward, forgot about most of the rest, save 3 or 4 gestalts, listed here. :shock:

Optimus prime done as a bullet train alone could've been fantastic. Alas with the need to incorporate a 2-way combination method and the dragon mode really muddies things up with kibbl;e with nowhere to go in robot mode.

* DaiKenzan (Kenzan on top, Optimus in the middle, Gekisoumaru as the legs)
